Highly Recommend!
I had SUCH a wonderful experience on this tour. Our guides Abel, and Marco were both really great. I was nervous for the hanging bridges, but after the first one, I was having a blast. Both guides helped us spot animals we wouldn't have seen on our own, and were very knowledgable about the animals and the environment. Highly recommend.

An Unforgettable Adrenaline Rush
This canyoning trip was an absolute blast and easily one of the most incredible experiences I’ve had. The entire operation was seamless and run like a well-oiled machine, from the punctual start to the delicious meal at the end. Even if you’ve never rappelled before, the guides are so professional and encouraging that you feel 100% safe and comfortable throughout the adventure. The combination of the four waterfall rappels and the "monkey drop" was an exhilarating adrenaline rush and a unique way to take in the beautiful scenery. It was a fun, high-energy morning that was worth every penny, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting La Fortuna.

Saw 5 sloths, one with baby, thanks to Jason
I joined a morning sloth tour on 13 April 2026. My tour was led by Jason. I was impressed by his love of nature, respect for nature and how he inspires us to respect nature by our actions sovthat nature will look after us too - never feed wild animals, stay on the trail, turn volume off, speak quietly, do not touch plants (can be poisonous). We are visiting their homes.
We sighted 5 sloths, both 2 toes and 3 toes - one sleeping, one moving slowly, one eating leaves, one mummy sleeping with her fluffy ball baby. We were treated with water melon at the end of the visit.
It is a private reserve, and the forest in it is as wild as it gets, with lots of sloths.
It is paradise for nature lovers.

Very cool experience and...
Very cool experience and very busy, but that didn’t bother us. My 66 year-old mom and I swam at the base of the waterfall. It’s SUPER cold and the water is powerful. There are lifeguards to ensure no one gets hurt. It was worth the business for the experience.

Best way to see wildlife!
Saw many amazing birds! All three types of monkeys and so much more wildlife! It was the most wonderful day we have had in Costa Rica. Our guide was so knowledgeable! Knew every bird and animal and so much about them. Our captain had the eagle eye!! Enjoyed every minute! Got wonderful pictures!

Amazing wildlife tour
It was a long bus ride from La Fortuna (probably 2 hours) but well worth it. Easily the best tour we have gone on in Costa Rica. We saw over a dozen caimans, a dozen bird species, iguanas, JC lizards, slider turtles, a sloth, a howler monkey, and a troupe of white face monkeys. And the lunch after the tour was excellent. Our guide David was excellent.

Incredible rainforest experience!
We really enjoyed our experience with Jada as our guide. We saw so much wildlife that we would have never seen without her. She was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed hearing about Costa Rica history. We would have favored doing the full tour at Mistico and doing all the hanging bridges instead of having to cut that piece short to get everywhere. The waterfall was so beautiful and we saw Howler monkeys there. The volcano hike was very short and while fascinating history, was our least favorite activity. We would have preferred longer rainforest and wildlife sighting at Mistico. Overall, the experience was wonderful and we enjoyed our guide!

Amazing experience, must book
Such an amazing & inclusive experience.
Hike: moderately intense as there are ~100 steps you have to climb through the terrain. Our 5&9 year old kids were with us and enjoyed it however my 5 year old got tired around the last 15 minutes. The hike is 2-2.5 hours then you go to the separate lunch location
Lunch: good food consisting of rice, beans, chips, pork or chicken + salad. The restaurant has one side for your guess but the other side has additional items for purchase and the fresa (strawberry ice) + cafe con leche were amazing
Hot springs: separate location from the hike, not far from lunch. This place exceeded our expectations as it contained 18 diff hot & cold springs +2 water slides for kids. We drove separately and were able to stay as long as we wanted once the tour was over
Tour: Franklin our guide, was amazing and very knowledgeable and passionate about the information. We drove 2.5 hours in from San Juan & even though we were late, they sent us an alternate location to meet them instead of us using the bus services. This worked out great because they allow 1.5 hours for the springs but we stayed an additional hours with our kids.

Totally worth it!
What an amazing day! If you’re expecting a hike through the jungle, that’s not quite it. It’s easy pathways through the jungle with amazing animals and bridges. Rasta was our guide and he’s awesome! A wealth of knowledge with some humour. We had a great day to see the volcano, a great lunch and what a great cool off at the falls. Highly recommend!!

Cocao to Chocolate from start to finish
Grexel was the most enthusiastic guide, we loved her! She and her team showed us how cocao turns to chocolate in all its various stages (including tastings at each stage). It was super fun and cool to learn the process and we were full from all the chocolate we ate!

Rainy but Magical Arenal Adventure
We had an amazing rainforest hike at the foot of the Arenal Volcano, followed by a relaxing visit to the hot springs. Our guide Joseph was fantastic — full of energy and incredibly knowledgeable. Thanks to him, we spotted a sloth right at the beginning of our tour!
The hike itself was rainy, but still unbelievably beautiful. Unfortunately, we couldn’t see the volcano because of the weather — that’s nature for you.
To end the day, we soaked in the hot springs, which was absolutely wonderful. A perfect finish to a great adventure!
