This was an amazing tour. Our tour guide was fabulous. He spotted 8 sloths with his spotting scope and took pictures for us through the spotting scope so that they were very clear and easy to see. He also talked about the flora and what sloths eat. He identified the differences between the two-toed sloth and the three-toed sloth. 🦥 He was very easy to talk to and we asked a lot of questions. It is absolutely one of the top experiences we had during our time in Costa Rica. I highly recommend it!!

This place is amazing! Our guide was so knowledgeable and let us see lots of animals including the sloths. He also took wonderful pictures for us. I was recommending this place for the rest of our trip.

Our guide was Rueben and he was extremely knowledgeable and personal. The trails were very easy to access and we learned many things about sloths. They have a great system for marking where sloths can be found. A must do!

We had SUCH a great time on this tour! Our guide was wonderful and helped us to see SO much wildlife from a mama/baby sloth pair (7 sloths total!) to a poison dart frog the size of a ladybug to lots of amazing birds. I wanted to do the whole thing again right away when it was done!

I joined a morning sloth tour on 13 April 2026. My tour was led by Jason. I was impressed by his love of nature, respect for nature and how he inspires us to respect nature by our actions sovthat nature will look after us too - never feed wild animals, stay on the trail, turn volume off, speak quietly, do not touch plants (can be poisonous). We are visiting their homes.
We sighted 5 sloths, both 2 toes and 3 toes - one sleeping, one moving slowly, one eating leaves, one mummy sleeping with her fluffy ball baby. We were treated with water melon at the end of the visit.
It is a private reserve, and the forest in it is as wild as it gets, with lots of sloths.
It is paradise for nature lovers.

We felt like the luckiest travelers of all-time: a sloth climbed down from a tree right in front of us (which only happens once every 7-10 days). Our guide was also excellent!

This was an awesome experience. How do you come to Costa Rica and not come see the sloths. We were the only ones for our tour, so that was awesome. We saw monkeys, red poison frogs, basilisk lizards, lots of different birds, 7 sloths including one baby sloth. So cool. Got lots of great pictures. Our tour guide was awesome, she could really spot everything and helped us with taking some awesome pics and videos. I would highly recommend this tour.

Very nice facilities. Pathway through the jungle is paved and easy to traverse. Our guide, Ruben. had a great personality and was very informative. Felt like we were friends by the end of the tour. We saw lots of sloth, and two had babies! We also saw a few different birds, a turtle, a lizard, leaf cutter ants, and howler monkeys!

We also liked how guides were cooperating with each other helping to see unexpected animals - owls, monkeys. We didn't have luck with armadillos this time ..

We had a wonderful time with an experienced and friendly guide on the morning sloth walk. Started on time, walk was easy, group was quiet, and we saw several sloths including a baby and mom pair. I would highly recommend this activity to all ages.

Totally worth it. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Its outdoors so bring sunscreen, a hat, umbrella or poncho, and bug repellant. Don't forget your phone or camera for great pics.

The tour was amazing! We were with Ed and he was very knowledgeable and had a GREAT eye for spotting wildlife. We saw about 6 sloths and even spotted a mom and baby. Definitely recommend this tour!

I highly recommend this tour! The setting is so natural and beautiful and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and easy to understand. They can’t guarantee that you will see Sloths but they sure know how to spot them. We lucked out and saw 10 including 3 babies!❤️🦥❤️🦥❤️🦥❤️

This was a really great tour! We spent about 2 hours walking through the woods — trails were easy enough for our kids (ages 6 and 8) and there are a few hanging bridges. We saw many sloths, a porcupine, and several bird and lizard species. Your guide was knowledgeable and really great with kids. This tour was one of the highlights of our time in Fortuna
