What are people saying about Kenya

Fun and Insightful
Franc did a fantastic job taking us on safari and being knowledgeable about Narobi. Sheldrick Wildlife Trust was my main motivation to come to Kenya. I enjoyed seeing the orphaned/injured animals be cared for and finding out the history of the site. I also had fun feeding the giraffes at The Giraffe Centre. :)

Eric was a fantastic tour...
Eric was a fantastic tour guide who managed to spot almost all of the animals that we wanted to see. Tour was ended at a Maasai market which felt a bit touristic but you could find most souvenirs. If you need a short tour, go for it, it is very much worth it.

Must See When in Nairobi
Fortunately my daughter saw and remembered that to enter the sanctuary part they wanted the entry fee in US dollars and had the cash in hand. Not sure what happens if you don't have it. But this part of the tour is well worth it. Watching the elephants play in the water hole is the most joyful thing! If you had to save money anywhere I would say the giraffe portion of the tour would be the place. Feeding the giraffes is fun and they are really cool to see up close but it is the same experience as any zoo that offers the same. But only skip if budget is too tight. It is incredible that this park is in the city. We have so many pictures of animals with the cityscape in the background. Joshua(?), our guide was so sweet and kind and great at finding the animals. We did all the parks around the Nairobi area and this was one of my favorites.

A Wonderful Day with Giraffes and Orphaned elephants
Such a wonderful day feeding the beautiful giraffes and watching adorable orphaned elephants drink their bottles and play. Our driver and tour guide Peter was excellent. He sent me a message through WhatsApp before the tour began and was waiting for us right outside our hotel entrance. The tour began with feeding multiple giraffes little pellets of grass and cereal. I loved that experience. So many great photos with the giraffes. Next we went to the baby elephant orphanage which surprised us to also include a baby rhino and a baby Zebra. It was wonderful to watch them get their milk and roll and play in the mud. We lined up along a rope off area for viewing. Next we went to Kobe Tough beadwork and leather to watch the artisans create beautiful beads. I was able to purchase several nice pieces of jewelry ranging in price from $10 to $30. We also toured the wood carving and ended the day with a casual lunch (at an additional charge) with some local Africa beer Tusker. 🍻 Perfect day !
