What are people saying about Kentucky

Our entire group...
Our entire group thoroughly enjoyed the horse farm and race track tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the horse racing industry and you could tell he loved sharing his knowledge. The horse farms were beautiful and we got to pet some horses! The race track was also amazing to see and we were able to watch some horses running on the track while we stood right up next to it. Very good tour!

Valet parking a real...
Valet parking a real plus. Manchester Hotel offers a comfortable lobby for use prior to and after the tour with restrooms available off the lobby. Sean Washington was incredible!! He was very knowledgeable and personable. As I said to Sean, "I knew Lexington was the Horse Capital of the World, but you showed me why!"

Fantastic food and stories!
This tour had some excellent and generous bites of food. Our tour guide, Cathy, did a great job explaining the history of both Louisville and the NuLu neighborhood. Of note was the ability of this tour to accommodate my allergies. It was a fun way to spend an afternoon! And dinner afterwards? Will be optional! It’s a lot of food!

Excellent Bourbon Tour
We booked a tour that included three bourbon distilleries. I selected one and let the tour company select the other two. They made great choices, including a small craft distillery that I would never have selected on my own. The driver was prompt, knowledgeable, and very personable.

If your brain wants to automatically add either “derby” or “bourbon” after the word “Kentucky,” that’s understandable—the state is rightly famous for both. As such, there are dozens of Kentucky tours to horse farms so you can see the sleek thoroughbreds up close. You can also traverse the bourbon trail on tours that stop at some of Kentucky’s most famous distilleries. Other options include guided walks through historic Louisville, visits to the National Corvette Museum, or food-focused walks through Lexington.
