An Authentic and Unforgettable Rice Terrace Experience

We had an absolutely fantastic experience exploring the rice terraces with Jerry, and we couldn’t recommend him more highly! From the very beginning, Jerry was incredibly punctual, reliable, and professional. Everything was perfectly organized, and we always felt that we were in good hands. What made the experience truly special was the route he chose for us: instead of just visiting the usual viewpoints, we walked right through the rice fields, surrounded by stunning landscapes and local life. It felt authentic, peaceful, and far from the typical tourist experience. Jerry was also extremely honest, fair, and helpful throughout the entire tour, which we really appreciated. He gave us the time to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and experience the terraces without ever feeling rushed. A beautiful and genuine experience, made even better by Jerry’s professionalism and kindness. We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the rice terraces — absolutely worth it!

Perfect way to experience the Li River and Yangshou County!

What a great day! Advance communication was informative and helpful. Transportation was roomy, comfortable and air conditioned. Our guide William offered lots of insights into the area, culture, history and was extremely accommodating. The cruise was beautiful. The boat did not offer many translations so it was helpful that William was able to provide guidance, teach us about the geography and translate anything that needed to be conveyed. We elected to ride bikes rather than use scooters and we’re not disappointed at all! The bikes were pretty comfortable and in good condition. We biked approximately 8 miles, William leading us around a path following the river until turning back into the countryside and venturing back through a few villages. We had some hot and rainy weather but even with that, we truly enjoyed the day! Highly recommend!

Great day out!

The guide was very knowledgeable and got us to the show at Longji just in time, followed by a nice lunch by the river gorge. He then took us on a very scenic route around the rice terrace which had breathtaking views around every turn and stopped by a local tea farmer's shop where we enjoyed teas and bought some too. Overall an excellent experience that we would recommend to everyone!

Excellent Tour guide, highly recommended!

Our tour guide Jeff was very warm and great fun to talk to, with decades of tour experience and stories to share. Although the Liushanjia show was cancelled due to flooding, he informed us ahead of time so we could make other arrangements. I'd definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Guilin!

Jacky (Chang) Li was fabulous. He just organised our day for us and off we went. He had great “Chenglish” and was so helpful with getting us to the right place and where to meet afterwards. There are not a lot of English speaking residents in the Guilin-Yangshuo-Xing Ping area, but we had a blast! Thanks Jacky…maybe you could stop the rain next time? ☺️

We had a great day with Jerry escorting us. He arrived when he said he would, obtained the tickets on our behalf and told us exactly what to expect, which made the whole experience far more relaxing. He was there to meet us at the other end of the river trip to take us up the mountain before bringing us back. Excellent tour. The tour was conducted by Mr. Sandy, polite gentlemen on time. He picked us up at 8:30am dropped us off at the cruise dock at 9:30. Cruise went on for around 3 1/2 hours. He picked us up at Yanshaou dock when the cruise ended. Walked us through the town and then drove us to the mountain where we climbed up some steps to a very beautiful viewing point, which gives us an aerial view of the entire valley. Drove us back for one and a half hours back to our hotel downtown in guilin
