Our guide George was fabulous, talked about the history of the island, turned us into olive experts, we couldn't have asked for more from him. The island itself was very interesting you do really need to go round with others you are on trip with this is self guided. Lunch was ok found it a bit salty though, would have been nice to have options to what to eat. Visit to i e factory was good George explained everything wonderfully. The cave in all honesty has a sad story but felt you didn't need to see it. George had mixed group english and french he was very professional as the French couple did not speak English so he explained everything in English and French. Maybe not having mixed language group would be better so that no one feels time is being spent more wirh one group.

If I could give this to her 10 stars I would! George picked us up promptly at our desired time and location. We traveled in a very clean and spacious van. Although the day is scheduled for up to 10 hours, we desired only a seven hour tour. Because it is completely private, George helped us to identify what was best for our group to cut, so we would be back at our desired time. We started our day at a beautiful olive orchard where we learned about olive trees, olive oil production, as well as their beehives and honey. We had a very fun tasting experience in a gorgeous setting of the olive trees. After this, we opted to visit the cave, where George told us a little history about its significance. It was a very unique and special experience for our family. When we visited the beach, George was very kind and prepared with beach towels, mats, and even an umbrella. He always had a fresh supply of cold waters for us and did everything possible to make us comfortable. He brought us to a lovely restaurant for lunch and we opted to end our day early. For people who want to do more, the day has the potential to be longer. There is a lot of driving around the island, but George gave us a perfect balance of answering our questions, and also allowing us to just be quiet and enjoy enjoying the beautiful scenery. He was an exceptionally careful driver, as many of these mountain roads seemed quite dangerous. I cannot say enough good things about this tour. Don’t hesitate to book! Definitely worth the money. Communication with service provider was excellent. Received pinpoint directions on where to meet the boat. Crew was absolutely wonderful! The small group size made the cruise comfortable and relaxing. The boat was comfortable and spacious enough that we never felt crowded. Views were amazing! Food and drink provided was ample and quite tasty. Recreational equipment provided was excellent and we had plenty of time to use it. At no point did we feel rushed. I would highly recommend this tour any small group.

Mike was great company and so full of knowledge. The private tour is the way to go and worth every penny. He timed things perfect to avoid crowds and the heat. We learned so much about the area and history of Crete. We got to see and do so much in 1 day.

That was nothing short of incredible. Most beautiful place I have ever seen, and experienced it the best way possible by dropping into the canyon via ropes all harnessed up. I didn’t know exactly what we were in for, but the guides were very thorough and helpful with teaching us how to canyon. Absolutely must do, highlight of our trip so far (we have been on vacation for 13 days). I plan on coming back and booking the same exact experience!! No joke, this is a no brainer, book this trip!!

From the moment we boarded to boat to the second we disembarked, Captain Lukas and Fitri were the perfect hosts. We were made to feel welcome with coffee, juice, pastries and cake. At our first stop we had the opportunity to snorkel in clear blue waters. We then headed around Spinalonga, then onwards to our lunch stop. Lunch was fresh, plentiful and delicious. We also had the opportunity to paddle board, snorkel and swim here too. Thank you Lukas and Fitri for giving us our best trip ever in Crete.

This is an ABSOLUTE must. If you are looking to experience authentic Greek cooking, culture, and hospitality, then look no further. Sophia and her family are the kindest, most genuine people, and they welcome you to Crete with the utmost warmth and friendliness. I feel very grateful and blessed that they were willing to open their home to share their knowledge of not just cooking but of Cretan living and everything that makes it so special and beautiful. Big thank you to the hosts, and I urge anyone who is considering this to just do it, because you will take it home as an irreplicable experience.

The highlight for us was the Zeus cave. Be aware that it is close to a 20 minute hike, going up pretty much continually. While we did the hike in sandals with no problems, we would recommend running shoes for comfort. There is a little refreshment stand at the top for cold drinks, etc. The cave itself was the highlight for us!!! The rest of the tour was also very interesting and worthwhile as well. The lunch was very good but is a bit later in the day. We were fortunate enough to sit in the forward facing seats for much of the tour. When we switched off to the rear side facing seats, it was a bit awkward and cramped, but that was totally expected. The tour company, Safari Experts, and our guide were excellent as well! In short, yes, we would recommend this tour.
