Beautiful March day in Romania! My husband and I booked a private tour. Our guide, Radu, was great - knowledgeable about the area, history and interesting facts. He was very patient with me as I get car sick and the winding roads were a bit of a challenge for me! Peles castle was lovely with amazing architecture and the amazing backdrop of the Carpathian Mountains. We also toured the two abbeys down the mountain from it - super interesting! I purchased these tickets online. Bran Castle did not disappoint! We purchased tickets (we included the torture tour part but it’s optional) at the bottom of the hill before walking up to the castle. It has such history and - the stories! We had lunch and strolled around Brasov which has an Eastern European feel. So pretty! Go to the Black Church and ask about the statue of the boy! We had delicious gelato - Radu can show where is the best! It is definitely a full day as it is a good distance from Bucharest but totally worth it. Wear your walking shoes and take a water bottle! I had a wonderful travel experience exploring Romania, with its beautiful countryside and well-organized package. A special thanks to Emanual, our travel guide, who took great care of us over the two days and explained the history of each place in a very engaging way. I would highly recommend this 2-day package to anyone looking to discover Romania.

I was given a warm welcome, then poured a lovely selection of Romanian wines from native grape varieties. It was a great introduction to varieties and regions I previously knew nothing about, but will certainly be looking for in the future! The tasting was two hours, although I'm sure I could have stayed for longer if I had wanted. I was encouraged to take my time trying the generous servings along with a nice selection of cheeses and meats. This is well worth booking if, like me, you love wine but are not familiar with Romanian wines.

Cristine was a wonderful guide. Besides being very knowledgeable, her clarity of speaking English made the tour much better for me, as I am very hearing impaired and have some difficulty walking distances. When the tour stopped she always did so where I could sit or lean. Very few guides we've met (hundreds over the years) have been so accomodating. She is a remarkable guide.

Alina was a verifiable fountain of knowledge regarding the architectural, cultural, and societal history of Bucharest, Romania, the Balkans, Eastern Europe, Russia and their relationship to Western Europe and the US. She's very personable, has a great sense of humor, who challenged what we've been taught about the region. I feel fortunate to having her as our guide.

Ed was our guide and he was brilliant! This was a really fun & efficient way to see the main highlights of Bucharest with so much history packed in to every stop along the way. Ed really knew his stuff & it was fascinating to learn about the incredible history, culture & architecture from him. I would highly recommend this tour - you won’t be disappointed! 5 stars definitely!👍🤩

Absolutely fantastic, the guides where brilliant so lovely and friendly . If you like a party and a good dance this is the pub crawl to do it in . Such a good atmosphere a great way to see the old town bars and meet new ppl who are traveling to . We went as a group of 5 girls all celebrating our big 40. The bars where great atmosphere was brilliant and the staff where lovely. Would definatley recommend , even if your travelling sold , as a couple or a group you will not be disappointed.

I really liked this tour. It is a great way to get to know the city especially in the front part of your stay here. You are driven around to many many of the sites ranging from seeing Gypsy people and the flower selling to Victory Square to the Presidents house (former communist leader) , etc. What I really liked was how flexible they were. The day was quite hot AND we had a tour for later in the week to walk Old Town. This, our guide decided to do more driving and less walking. Then, when a surprise rain storm hit he still drove around showing us Bucharest. This is a really nice tour
