Great value for the cost

Gaztelugatxe is a very intense physical experience - over 200 steps up to the top and back and that's not even the hardest part. There's a long and very steep climb back up to the parking area. Bermeo wasn't very exciting. Had an excellent sea bass lunch at the Casino in Mundanka, a very interesting (and too short) visit to Gernika and ended the tour with a Txakoli tasting at a winery. The day trip was well worth the money.

Great experience

Leire was our guide and she was fabulous. The drinks and pintxos at every stop were remarkable. They also allowed changes for both food and drinks should a person want something different . We had a great group and with Leire as our leader there was no way to not have fun! The tour was well worth the money and I highly recommend it.

Great tour

We went on a small guided tour with Asier, who was great. As a Game of Thrones fan, I am glad we got to spend a lot of time on site. Asier gave us a lot of context and information on the various sites. He managed our time well and we never felt rushed. He even gave us excellent recommendations on where we might want to eat for dinner (tour ended by 3:30).

Awesome Bike Tour

Javi the Great Guggenheim Guide

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the outside and inside tour of the Guggenheim in Bilbao! We were lucky that there were only four of us and Javi, our guide, was the best! Javi was filled with so much information and incredible detail. He consistently spoke to each one of us saying our names to make sure we didn’t miss a beat! He took photos when we asked and had a huge passion for his work and for the city he was born in. Would definitely recommend Javi.

great morning adventure

excellent overview of basque area with a great hike -short but moderate - lots of steps up and down, can be steep but the views are incredible. Zach was an amazing guide. Pick up was early but we beat the crowds! Borneo was a nice fishing town -- Very comfortable airconditioned van. Pintxos were delicious. highly recommend!

Fabulous Rioja tour

We had a wonderful day to the Rioja wineries with Adur. Not only was he knowledgeable about the history and culture of the region, but he added to our experience by personalizing the day for us according to our interests, answering our endless questions. The tour was engaging to this beautiful region, made all the more special because of Adur. Not to mention the lovely lunch (and cheesecake) in La Guardia. We bumped into Adur again in San Sebastián when he was leading another tour. We were at a restaurant that he had recommended to us! Such a special day with beautiful memories and very special guide. The best food tour we’ve ever been on! As we visited in early March during the off-season, we were lucky enough to end up on an unplanned private pintxos tour. Kara was an incredible guide - so knowledgeable not only about the food and drinks we were trying, but also about the Basque Country, its rich history, culture, and language. She thoughtfully took our dietary preferences into account when ordering the pintxos, choosing dishes that suited both of us perfectly while still encouraging us to try exciting new things. Every stop felt carefully chosen, and the experience felt incredibly personal. We learned so much throughout the tour, from the traditions behind pintxos to the stories of the old town and the Basque culture. It truly was such a special and personalised experience. It was a pleasure to meet Kara, and we’re so grateful for such a wonderful evening that we’ll never forget. This tour genuinely made our holiday!
