The tour through Ayutthaya was great, our guide Pat was really nice and very knowledgeable, it could be hard to understand him sometimes though because of the accent but nothing deal breaking. The restaurant were they took us to eat was pretty good as well. They took cash or card with a 3% fee, lunch was about 220 Baht per person with main dish and coconut water.

10/10 this was the best part of my trip to Thailand. I loved cycling through Ayutthaya and our guide was incredible, explaining everything and taking his time so we could truly enjoy each stop. Don’t consider any other booking, this is the one! 🤓

We had a lovely tour with Peter to see the Railway Market, Floating Market, and Ayutthaya World Heritage sites. Peter gave us great background information about Thailand's culture and history. They provided plenty of cool water and wipes, plus a mango sticky rice treat. The car was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Wat Phra Si Sanphet temple in Ayutthaya, Thailand.
  • You don’t need Ayutthaya tickets as there is an entrance fee to enter the historical park or city.

  • Most visitors spend at least a half-day exploring the vast, 715-acre (289-hectare) city site.

  • If biking, note that traffic lights are missing from some intersections—be sure to look both ways, and always assume cars and trucks have the right of way. Finally, always wear a helmet.

  • The ruined temples, abandoned in the 18th century, are still considered sacred. To be respectful, wear long pants or skirts, don’t show bare shoulders, and always remove shoes before entering a temple building.
