Well worth the money, saw so many beautiful lakes
There is an hour long hike that’s uphill to Peyto Lake so be prepared for that. They gave us snow cleats and poles so we were prepared compared to others.

Book it, it’ll be worth it!
To start off, our tour guide Robert was amazing. He went above and beyond to show us everything. He gave us a really good understanding of the history behind major landmarks we visited. I felt like the tour encompassed all the major stuff we wanted to see. 10/10 would recommend!

important information
the tour itself was EXCELLENT and tess was a wonderful tour guide.
but if you book this, contact radventures directly to order lunch and rent equipment like snowshoes and skates. you cannot do these things through viator and you cannot do them after you've left. but there's no place on the tour to get lunch. either bring your own or order directly through the tour company.

Exceeded Expectations!!!
The tour exceeded my expectations. Our guide, Robbie was so personable, knowledgeable and so professional. 100% recommended if you want to avoid the crowds. Its a great way to go to all the best spots in one day.

Great tour of the beautiful lakes
Excellent tour of the lakes and beauty spots. Robbie was really friendly and had so much local knowledge to share. The group was small so we could ask questions and take the time we wanted in each stop.

Totally worth the money
This is an awesome experience. They are always responsive, on time, door to door service. Good and clean vehicle. Totally worth the money.

Excellent tour shady company email
The excursion is great, our guide he was wonderful. The lake had plenty of bubbles and was nicely frozen over. All the stops were beautiful.
My only complaint is it literally says in the viator page contact RAD for ice skate rentals. I literally did several days before and was met with a, oh you booked with viator we can’t rent you skates but if you cancel with viator and rebook with us you can then rent skates. So basically was being told cancel, rebook so we don’t have to pay Viator anything and then we’ll let you rent skates. Seemed like shady way for them to avoid paying Viator a booking fee, if you don’t honor what it says on Viator don’t be on here on the first place. I kept my Viator booking and simply walked on the lake. We considered renting in town and brining them ourselves but opted just to walk on the lake. Again let this take nothing away from the tour and the guide but the office is trying to avoid viator bookings.

Rob was a great tour...
Rob was a great tour guide. Enjoyed the commentary and the views! Tour was almost 7 hours but did not seem nearly that long. Would definitely recommend!

Top spots in Banff
Moraine Lake and Peyto Lake were the 2 top things on my “to do” list for this vacation. They lived up to all expectations. Spectacular. Caroline and Jerome were knowledgeable and helpful.

Excellent Tour
This tour was amazing. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and on time. We had plenty of time to enjoy each stop and one stop was more gorgeous than the next. The bus was clean and had lots of room. The sites were incredible. I cannot recommend this tour strongly enough.

When to visit

Peyto Lake is a must for first-time visitors to the Icefields Parkway and Canada’s Rocky Mountain parks.
It’s about a 10-minute walk from the parking lot to the lookout point.
There is a washroom facility near the parking lot.
There is a drop-off point closer to the viewing platform (via a short, level path). Follow the signs for tour buses and limited mobility access.
