Ray our driver and guide is fantastic, he is professional explain the itinerary well, kept very well to time and he went all out to look for guests who is late just in case they could not find the bus. Ray provided bottled water and afternoon snacks. We are all very spoilt. Ray recommended good choice of restaurants. Ray looked out for animals deer, bears, moose, etc. He is very friendly and make sure we are all comfortable in the bus.

During peak summer season...

During peak summer season this is best way to see all the key sites around Banff. No need to worry about driving in unfamiliar mountains, know when and where to get parking- just sit back and have your camera ready for unbelievable views and animal sightings. Note that only in an approved tour could anyone see Lake Moraine. All other access is not permitted during summer peak. This and Johnston Canyon were tops for husband and I- plus meeting and enjoying 10 other travelers from around the world. Highly recommend this tour and if lucky to get Jack as your driver and lead- you’ll learn a great deal and enjoy his Australian warmth.

It was a great day! We thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. The sights were amazing and there’s no way we would’ve been able to see it all on our own. Our tour guide, Aashish, was super friendly and helpful. He kept the tour on schedule, and he always pointed out the best views and trails. He had lots of pointers to make sure we made the most of our time at every stop.

Our guide Aiden was PHENOMENAL… informative, super bright and just confident in what he knows and does! Our fave guide of our time in Banff!! The experience was a bit more adventurous than we expected- you will be walking in the pitch dark for a few miles on a trail in the woods which we never would have attempted on our own! With that said… the star gazing was AMAZING!!! We even saw the Northern lights!!! Such a pleasant surprise and would def recommend this excursion!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience visiting Lake Louise and Moraine Lake with Rockies Journey, and so much of that was thanks to our incredible guide, Ken Ken. From the very beginning, Ken Ken was attentive to our family’s needs, kind, patient, and genuinely enjoyable to be around. He made us feel so comfortable that it honestly felt like we were spending the day with a friend rather than simply following a tour guide. He went out of his way to help us, took beautiful family photos for us, and made sure we could truly enjoy every moment. Our children absolutely loved spending the day with him! As parents of a child with additional needs, one thing meant especially much to us: Ken Ken welcomed our family exactly as we are. He was understanding, flexible and inclusive, and never once made us feel that our child’s differences or needs were an inconvenience. That kindness and acceptance made the experience so much more relaxing and special for our entire family. The Madeleines Were the BEST!

Even with a smoky haze we had a wonderful trip on the Lake Minnewanka cruise! Both our tour guide and our captain (both Madeleines) were fantastic and made the morning very enjoyable! We learned a lot and the ride was nice and smooth. We got to see a bald eagle and other wildlife back on the shore as well! Would recommend for all ages if you're looking for something a little different outside of hikes and bus tours!
