The tour of the Knossos palace was wonderful. We were lucky to be the only ones on the tour so it was a private tour. The guide was very accommodating with my walking issues. And we were able to stay longer so my nephew was able to explore more. Riding the city bus was great, able to see local life. Going to Greece in January has been the best choice, no crowds and the weather is perfect. 60 degrees F. For us is warm. We came from 10 degrees F.

Detailed tour of castle. Guide was knowledgeable but coughed into microphone quite often and would not cover the microphone as suggested- not polite. Booked this tour on Saturday for Sunday not knowing it was free admission due to cultural holiday. Otherwise good tour but could have done self audio tour ourselves for better value.

Great experience! Yannis met me at the prearranged meeting place, explained everything very clearly (and even lent me an umbrella!). Our guide was so knowledgeable and encouraged us to also visit the archeological museum, which meant so much more after the knowledge gained on the trip. Our guide is an archeologist and quite knowledgeable about the history of the Minoans and the Palace at Knossos as well as the Mycenaeans , We took an overnight ferry to Herakilon and after some confusion about how to get to the palace we were pleased there was a cafe with coffee at the palace . Awesome

I do not think I can recommend this to her highly enough. My tour guide was an archaeologist, and she really had a phenomenal way in which to present the ruins. I have always wanted to visit the site, and I cannot think of a better way in which to have done it.

Our guide, Akrivi, was extremely knowledgeable of both Greek history and mythology and shared that with us during our Knossos tour. We learned so much from her and she was also very passionate in telling the story. She was engaging and ensured that all of our questions were answered.
