What are people saying about Zagreb

Fantastic tour. Unparalleled guide.
Our guide, Katarina, was incredible. She was a passionate, effective communicator with a level of knowledge and understanding of historical context that is unmatched in any walking tour we have done! I have a much better understanding of this area of the world and how the effects of historical events continue to play out in the lives of the people today. I am thrilled we had her as a guide. This tour was a fantastic starting point for our time in Croatia.

Beautiful experience
It’s a lot of walking over uneven trails and boardwalks but the pace is manageable. It’s well worth it because you get to see so much beauty. Our guide was superb and he provided a tremendous amount of information. Rastoke was a real unexpected bonus.

This is the best way to...
This is the best way to go from Zagreb to Split if you don't drive. Also, the Plitvice lake tour is spectacular, and a must-see. Sonja and Mia were our tour guides; Sonja took care of us from Zagreb to Plitvice lakes, and then we transferred to another bus with Mia on board for the later trip from Plitvice to Split. 4-hour hiking is enough to see the upper and lower lakes. The perfect time to see the lakes is end of September when the weather is not too hot nor too cold, the place is not too crowded. The day we visited the lakes, there were only about 700 visitors, as opposed to 15,000 visitors per day in the summer time. I would recommend anyone visiting Croatia make a trip to the Plitvice lakes.

We did not want to spend...
We did not want to spend too much time in Slovania, and have decided to take a day tour from Zagreb to Ljubljana, the capital of Slonania, and lake Bled. It turned out that Ljubljana was such a charming and cozy city that we regretted not having spending more time in the city. Compared to Zagreb, Ljubljana is a better place to stay and enjoy the "city of love' , nicknamed by the locals. Lake Bled is also very beautiful, that we are thinking about coming back in the future. Definitely. We would recommend anyone to take a day tour to Slovania from Zagreb
