What are people saying about Puerto Rico

Amazing guides. Great experience.
This was an amazing experience! None of us had ever kayaked before, and I went with my twin teenagers. Our guides, Jonathan, Julio, and Jenson, were friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and made the entire trip enjoyable from start to finish. They made us feel completely safe and confident on the water.
We didn't end up seeing the bioluminescence, but the company was upfront with us that morning about the low chances of seeing it and even gave us the option to cancel. We really appreciated their honesty, and we're so glad we decided to go anyway. The nighttime kayaking experience itself was unforgettable!
The location was easy to find, with a nearby park that has restrooms and a few restaurants, which made everything very convenient. The snacks provided at the end were a nice bonus and the perfect way to wrap up the tour.
I highly recommend this tour. Even if nature doesn't cooperate, the guides and the overall experience make it well worth it!

The best time! Will book again
We had an incredible time on the El Yunque rock slides tour! Our original tour was postponed, but we were accommodated on the 2:00 PM tour, which actually turned out to be perfect. The rock slides weren't crowded, and the cooler afternoon temperatures made the experience even more enjoyable.
Meeting our coordinator, Gabriella, was quick and easy, and everything started right on time. The drive to the rainforest flew by because our guide, Maria, kept everyone engaged and encouraged us to chat and get to know each other.
Maria was personable, knowledgeable, and full of energy. She gave clear, detailed instructions every step of the way, which helped calm our nerves since it was our first time on the rock slides. She also took amazing photos throughout the tour, so we could focus on having fun.
The hike to both rock slides was short and manageable. We were a little nervous at first, but once we did the first slide, we couldn't wait to do it again! It was such a fun and memorable experience.
Afterward, we stopped at the beach, where local street food was provided. The food was good, though not our favorite part of the day. While the beach itself wasn't as scenic as some of the other beaches we visited in Puerto Rico, we still had a great time relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere.
Overall, this was an excellent excursion with outstanding guides. We'd absolutely do it again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Puerto Rico!

Beautiful beach
Exactly as advertised. Beautiful time on Flamenco beach. Best beach ever!! Just wished we would have had more time! At the snorkeling location we saw stingrays and various sea turtles. It was all amazing! Guides were very knowledgeable and kind. Overall a great day in Culebra.

Clearly Superior Tour, Best Experience Ever!
This was an absolutely wonderful experience! Our tour guide Brian was not only kind enough to pick us up from our hotel, but was also super knowledgeable about the history, flora, and fauna of the rainforest and surrounding area. He pointed out birds and reptiles, showed native vs invasive species, and clearly demonstrated how best to handle the trails and climbing. Additionally, he offered to take photos and videos so that our group could stay tech-free and really focus on the experience, which was great. Our family is in moderate shape and we all did fine; no one in our group fell, slipped, or even got nervous. It was much better with just 6 people and going early in the morning. Toward the end of our trip we could see the larger groups arriving and their tour guides had a much harder time keeping everyone corralled. This tour was clearly superior both in terms of the tour guide and experience itself.

A beautiful hidden treasure. Thank you Miguel!
Let me first say this. The hiking portion of this adventure is not for the weak. You need to be hydrated and somewhat in shape because the hills to get to where you are going are tough. That being said, this adventure was absolutely unforgettable. Our guide Miguel made the trip interactive while giving us so much knowledge and insight into the surroundings. Wading through the river was cool and refreshing. The overhangs of the embankments, the stalagmites, stalactites, the bats, and the hidden caves were just so cool. Tubing was so much fun, and the second portion of the tubing became a lazy river type of experience and the guides didn’t rush you. You got to just float and look up and look at all of the enormous vegetation and rocky features. Finally, we stopped at a medium sized pool where we got to jump from rocks multiple times before heading back uphill to drop off our gear. We even got to eat some fresh Pumarosa which is a Puerto Rican local fruit that is like a mix of a plum and an apple. It was hydrating and delicious and right off the tree. Finally, we were able to shower/rinse off at a provided station at the end and just spend time talking with all of the guides.
Note: DO NOT WEAR WATER SHOES. There are a lot of places to slip and hurt yourself, and lots of large rocks in the river that make wearing water shoes very difficult. Tennis Shoes, or hiking shoes are the way to go.
This is an absolute must do activity for anyone wanting to see Puerto Rico nature and I can’t wait to go back and do it again!

A day with your personal, local guide
An unforgettable journey from the Atlantic to the Caribbean! Our guide, Angel Ruiz, was both educated and entertaining—an absolute delight. We enjoyed an amazing lunch at a local eatery that gave us a true taste of the island's culture. Highly recommend this tour if you want to truly understand this island paradise!

Jonathan is the best!!! 10/10
We traveled with Jonathan as our driver and he was so kind and welcoming. I felt safe and taken care of the entire time! On the way there he took time to explain sights in Puerto Rico that we were passing. Absolutely recommend (bonus points if jonathan is your driver!!)

Best day
This was the best our day of our whole vacay!
Capt Lucas, Pedro, Kevin and Javier were so wonderful. Loaded us on the boat, quick safety briefing and then about a 15 minute ride over to beautiful Icacos. (You will get wet!) Once on island- they set you up under an umbrella with a well stocked cooler with water, soft drinks and beer. 2 guides stay behind with you -while the others run trips back-and-forth. After some beautiful water time, you can take a hike around the island (about 30 minutes) and then another guide will take you on a snorkel tour of the Reef. The 5 hours fly by -I did not want to leave! Don't forget sunscreen, lunch, and some floats.
(And bring some $ for your new hard-working friends.) you won't regret. You won't regret this trip!

Just go it’s worth it!
It was a GREAT DAY!! Here is my run down. Communication about pick up/location/what to bring (most via text after signing up) was clear and easy. The rainforest was THE BEST PART OF MY DAY. We went on a natural rock slide, cliff jumps (approx 20ft), and a rope swing. What I appreciated was that since they recommended you don’t bring your phone, they were taking photos and videos of everyone doing all the group activities and then added them into a shared album at the end of the day. It was so nice to disconnect and not have to worry about it. ALSO, our tour guides Bradley and Amartio WERE INCREDIBLE! They are both lifeguard certified and had so much great information to share. They cut us an incredible platter of fresh fruit which was awesome as well! They dropped us off at the cutest marina based restaurant for an early dinner (approx 430pm) and then we kayaking. The was difficult to see the bio bay coloring but that was not the kayaking company’s fault. The kayaking can get pretty intense in some areas with added difficulty that your kayaking in the dark on the way back. But it was still fun all the same. It’s a long day and we got back to Old San Juan via the transport at approx 10pm. However, we are here for a long weekend and it was the perfect way to do two things on our bucket list. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND AND GO!
