In - home cooking with Nuran
Nuran was very warm and welcoming. She took the time to ask about my trip to Turkey, shared stories about her family and hometown, and created a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
She explained and demonstrated each dish before guiding me through the cooking process, making the experience both fun and easy to follow. Sharing dinner with her family at the end of the evening made it feel especially personal and authentic.
I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a more meaningful and personal way to experience Istanbul and Turkish cooking.

Samira was great !
What a great experience in Istanbul. Samira made learning how to make Turkish coffee fun. She was friendly and really sweet. I loved learning about cultural traditions (related to coffee). She did great engaging the small group. They were also able to accommodate a time change for me, which worked out great.

They had a great...
They had a great selection of colors for us to pick from and some helpful easy guides and examples to base our designs off of, while also being flexible if we wanted to try other things. They also provided tea and a small snack of Turkish delights. I loved the size of the lamps, I thought they were perfect for people who are traveling where it's smaller but also enough space to get creative with the designs. Super fun activity and right in the heart of Galata neighborhood, so very accessible.

Warm and engaging coffee workshop with Petek!
Thank you Petek for instructing the Turkish coffee making process in such a warm, patient, informative, and engaging manner ☺️ We began with the history of coffee bean, Ottoman Empire, and different ways of making Turkish coffee. Strongly connected the making process with the cultural root of Turkish people. Definitely recommend this tour to couples and families!!

Well worth your time and money.
Hamza and Ilker run a great workshop highly recommend doing when coming to Istanbul. I was unable to make the first session and they were able to make a special exception for my wife and I to rebook.
The class itself was extremely enjoyable and well worth the money. You go away with a hand made souvenir to remember your trip with and a deep appreciation for turkish handmade carpets.

Cooking class with Rojda
I can't possibly say enough good things about our experience doing the cooking class with Rojda. It was be awkward entering a new person's home for the first time, but Rojda made it feel anything but. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with the infamous Turkish hospitality by both Rojda and her sweet little daughter. Water, tea, coffee, slippers, snacks-- everything was shared before we even started cooking.
The food was incredible! We made an amazing feast and cooked so many amazing dishes- enough to feed a small army! Rojda kindly offered to have us take a lot of the food home, but unfortunately we were flying back the next day. The table was full and it was so hard to believe we cooked so much in such a short time-- soup, a main dish, and 4? 5? different mezze. And a salad. Incredible!
The only thing more wonderful than the food was the conversation. Rojda shared with us about her life- what an amazing and inspiring woman she is! She shared with so much openness and honesty and warmth. It's amazing how even come from such different backgrounds, we have so many things in common and points of connection.
My whole family- 2 adults and 2 kids- had the most wonderful time. It is an experience none of us will ever forget, and we are so grateful we got to take part in. Thank you Rojda!

Sign up for this tour if you like food and culture!
This is one of the best tours we have experienced! It’s very unique! Our guide, Tolga, was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He introduced us to areas and excellent restaurants that we would not have tried on our own. He went out of his way to make sure we are happy and content. Each and every place we tried and passed by were amazing. If you like trying new food, you should sign up for this tour. Would give this more than 5 stars if we could! Thank you, Tolga, for an unforgettable experience!

An entertaining way to learn about coffee culture
The experience took place in our guide's home which was a short walk from the Blue Mosque. He was engaging and entertaining and made the experience fun for us both. It was a short little workshop but was an enjoyable way to learn about Turkish coffee culture.
