Communication with...
Communication with service provider was excellent. Received pinpoint directions on where to meet the boat. Crew was absolutely wonderful! The small group size made the cruise comfortable and relaxing. The boat was comfortable and spacious enough that we never felt crowded. Views were amazing! Food and drink provided was ample and quite tasty. Recreational equipment provided was excellent and we had plenty of time to use it. At no point did we feel rushed. I would highly recommend this tour any small group.

Private Tour Knossos
Spyros, our driver made this trip absolutely 💯 exceptional not only his knowledge but his welcoming personality. We took our time on every stop, didn't feel rush, we laughed a lot, he made sure we were comfortable and had the opportunity to meet locals, which made even more special.

Our tour guides George...
Our tour guides George and Dimitiri were very nice, we really enjoyed all the activities we did. I highly recommend the olive oil tasting and pottery workshop. Our group were 4 teens and 4 adults, there was something for everyone! We had plenty of time to explore Knososs Palace, the museum and were even treated to Greek coffee by George and Dimitri, which was a surprising treat! The monastery is a must see too. Thank you for making our experience in Crete a memorable one!

Excellent tour
Excellent tour guide-Katarina was very knowledgeable, fluent in English, and brought the history of Knossos to life. She also made the Herkalion museum interesting by ushering us through the important exhibits. Nickolas was an excellent driver, expertly maneuvering his pristine car through many tight spaces. So glad I booked this private tour instead of the crowded, expensive bus tours the ships put together.

An Absolute MUST!
Perfect from A to Z!
Our guide Dimitris was awesome! He was so knowledgeable, showed up on time and had the cleanest vehicle. Offered us water immediately and told us what to expect on the trip. He gave us some history lessons as we rode to our first part of the destination where we stopped for coffee and pastries. The gorge was phenomenal and is an absolute must! This time of year the water was cold, but once you get used to it, it was great. We got the best pictures. A little bit of a warning though…you definitely need water shoes and sneakers for the short hike. You definitely need to be in good health and be OK with inclined and steep terrain.
Afterward, we went to Kalypso Beach for some sunbathing and swimming. Another picture perfect part of the day. After hanging out there for another hour or so we went to lunch at a local restaurant where we simply had the best Cretan food and got to talk to some locals and really experience what the area has to offer. I even got a chance to buy locally sourced olive oil to take home with me! It’s one of their major exports as we looked and drove by all the olive trees in the mountains!
This was the most perfect day for myself and my family and would highly recommend this tour!

Our guide was awesome! He worked around our allergies and food preferences and was very knowledgeable about the different types of food and the meaning behind them! He asked lots of questions about our culture and we both got to learn! Overall, we had a great experience and left very full (don’t eat several hours beforehand if you want to make it through).

Experiences Over Things!
These guys were the absolute best! Friendly, very attentive, answered all of my questions and made sure my boys had fun, especially my youngest, as this was part of his birthday experience. They even put a birthday song on the karaoke machine and sank to him the happy birthday song!

Wonderful Overview of Crete
Our guide, APO, did an absolutely fabulous job today. Not only did he pick us up at a different location due to a hotel cancellation, but he treated us like family for the day. We visited an olive oil factory and received an educational tour of how olive oil was made in the past and today.
We drove into the mountainside and plateau region. We experienced " Greek Starbucks" coffee in a village, learned about culture and customs. Explored windmills, town wells, historic trees, learned about farming and plant life. Tasted fresh goat cheese and yogurt. A traditional wood stove cooked Greek lunch hit the spot- with a nip of raki to follow. We finished up with a trip to Knossos Palace. APO drove safely, answered all of our questions and went above and beyond to accommodate everyone! I highly recommend him as a tour guide and true gentleman. His friendly personality is infectious. This was one of the best ways to begin our Cretan vacation.

Highlight of our Crete trip!
This trip was one of the highlights of our trip to Crete. The boat was nice and spacious, we were 11 people including the captain and the skipper and there was enough space for all of us. The Dia Island itself was not too interesting, but it was a nice area to chill on the boat or swim (really blue, clear water!), although on the day we were there the water was a bit cold. The lunch was prepared fresh on the boat and was amazing! I was kind of expecting a cold, simple dish but the crew went above and beyond to prepare a delicious meal for us. Also we had a free flow of drinks including wine. Big thanks to Dima and Mano from Cretan Sailing Cruises - they were the best crew we could ever hope for. Friendly, funny, and they made sure every second we spent on the boat was comfortable. I would definitely recommend this trip - but make sure to bring warm clothes because it can get really windy on board!

First class wine tour
First class service, from the moment you are picked up Areti is respectfully enquiring what your tastes are and wine preferences.
From there, she expertly pairs wine and food to your tastes. This is a great day, excellent wine & olive oil with authentic Cretan food served at every stop.
Areti knows her stuff, we learnt all about the history of Crete and how they had brought back certain wines from near extinction.
If you’re not a big breakfast eater then skip it altogether that day as the food offered on the tour is outstanding.
Highly recommended, look no further.

Interesting tour with a nice shopping or eating opportunity
We had a really nice time on the tour. Guide was friendly and very interested in the history. It was very informative, far more than we would have gotten just walking the site ourselves and reading the signs. The end of the tour in the city was equally interesting. We opted to forego the ride back to the port and explored on our own afterwards and walked back as the old town was not very far. On the whole I would recommend this tour!

Great day out
Cannot recommend this activity highly enough. The communication was great, the sailors were fun and made us a delicious meal from scratch. They even had seasickness tablets on hand for of needed. The scenery could not be beaten, and swimming of the back of the boat was incredible. They even provided the necessary equipment to enjoy this.
