The Fire Tour is Fantastic!

My wife and I had the best time on the Fire Tour. Rodrigo was so easy going and fun to talk to, he knew so much about the areas he showed us and was eager to share his knowledge. The pyramids were incredible, the tequila tour and tasting were better than we could've imagined, and the Town of Tequila was super cute. We highly recommend taking this tour, it's worth every penny.

The best Tequila Tour

10/10 recommend this tour. Ive taken many tours in many different parts of Mexico but this one is probably the best one! Hector, our guide, felt more like a great friend. He was very informative but very chill. Also never rushed us and his timing of the tour was perfect! Every time we moved on from a spot, it started to get very busy but because of his timing, he made the day flow so smoothly. I also loved that it was a small group, only 7 of us. I much prefer this over 40+ people. I just cannot recommend this tour enough but if possible, make sure its with Hector!

Our tour guide did a great job throughout the whole trip. It was interesting learning the process for making tequila. I had taken another tour the day before at another tequila distillery in Amatitán, but some of the facts learned during this tour were not mentioned the day before. I liked that people weren't pressured into drinking as not everyone wanted to participate in the tequila tasting, and who were also able to choose how full of a shot glass we wanted. I think we could have been at the restaurant a little less time as once we were done eating we had to wait a while to move on to the next town. I also expected to get a free drink for the boat ride since it was mentioned in the post, but we ended up getting it after lunch for our ride to Ajijic, once we were in the van. It was tequila with squirt, but you couldn't really taste the tequila. Overall, it was a great experience.

Love this scenic tour in which I got to see the Chapala Lake and two beautiful towns by the lake. Pick up was easy and on time and the entire trip was well paced- not rushed at all!
