Grand Bahama Beach Day with Snorkel & lunch
We had a very good experience. The shuttle was right on time very friendly guide, the shuttle was clean and comfortable. The beach was awesome, the food was good - we had great chairs and snorkel gear which was an amazing experience. I would do it again!

Great little spot.
Great spot smaller than I expected but super friendly and great snorkeling with the caveat that you have to swim in very very shallow water to get to the best spot which is being the rocks where its deeper water. Also watch the tide as if the roses going out you need to be a good swimmer even with fins as its a tough swim all the way round against the tide. But overall I would highly recommend it if you like to swim or snorkel

Excellent spot of Paradise.
Great spot for snorkeling and Kayaking. Plenty of fish, sea turtles, coral, and Manta rays to be seen. I recommend the day pass which includes beach chairs, equipment rentals and lunch.

Paradise Cove
It is best to be in good health and stamina, the water will wear you out. Make sure what you have selected - to go with or without a guide. Also, no lifeguard is there. It is swim at own risk

Smaller beach , not...
Smaller beach , not crowded. We relaxed on the beach, did a bit of snorkeling and saw several sea turtles and other things. Food was decent.

Great place to spend a day!
We had a great time at Paradise Cove. Found the bus off the port easily upon disembarkation. Mr. Parker, who drove the bus, was friendly and knowledgeable. Upon arrival at Paradise Cove, you check in, get your gear, and attend a brief safety meeting where they go over the do's and do not's of snorkeling in the different zones. We swam all the way out to the rocks and beyond, which is a workout. The snorkeling is very good in all of the zones. We saw all kinds of fish, sea turtles, and even a shark in the deeper water. There were some small jellies in the water which they warned us about but none of us got stung. After snorkeling, we hung out on the beach for a while. Drinks are very reasonably priced ($2 sodas, $5 beers). We would definitely go back! Only caveat to this excursion is there is no lifeguard, so it's swim at your own risk, and like I said it is a workout so someone in bad physical condition could have some problems, but anyone in basic good heath/weight/cardio would do fine.

A Must while I Freeport.
Absolutely AMAZING. Mr Parker he driver and Cathy/Kathy (behind the register) were just great. Food was really good and reasonably priced. The snorkeling was perfect for all ages. The owner was there and noticed i was looking at my Snorkel (which had residual lipstick) and he took it right away and got a clean one and addressed it without me sating anything. The drinks are string and food was so yummy.

Beautiful
Beautiful spot with easy to swim to coral reef and nice soft clean sand. I highly recommend the cracked conch at the grill. It is lightly battered and fried. Like a calamari. Very good!

Fun Snorkeling in Freeport
Took a 25 minute shuttle from the cruise port, and had several hours of snorkeling and beach time. It was a great snorkeling experience. There was a pretty strong storm off shore, so we did not kayak or paddle board, but we still had a great time. Facilities were clean, the lunch was good, and the people were friendly. Will definitely come back.

Beautiful!
Our group included my 87 yr old dad. He and Mom (85) enjoyed shade and ocean breezes on the patio. The bathrooms and changing areas were clean and easy for them to use. Hamburgers and hot dogs hit the spot. Snorkeling we saw sea turtles and a huge stingray. Felt like a family BBQ with nature’s best snorkeling. No crowds when we were there. Will definitely go back!

Highlight of the trip
This was a highlight of our cruise trip to the Bahamas. We had never been there before and knew we should book something as Freeport is very limited and mostly industrial.
We saw this and booked last minute. It was January and the weather was 75 and perfect.
The tour bus driver had a sign at the terminal and all was clear about where to sit etc.
We drove through some of Grand Bahama Island- this is a place affected by several hurricanes. The island is still recovering.
At Paradise cove we were given our snorkel gear and chairs and a quick overview.
Once we got in the water we were in another world and so transfixed by the beautiful fish especially around the man made reef. Definitely go to that spot and just enjoy.
We did not venture too far out but others in the group did. There was also the chance to rent a canoe but we did not do that. We did not have the lunch package so can’t speak to that.
A very beautiful 4 hours that will remain in our hearts forever.
