We visited Taino Bay on an NCL cruise, I wanted to visit the Damajagua Falls but was put off by NCL’s exorbitant fee. This operator offered the same trip at a vastly cheaper fare and made it seamless with great communication beforehand. We were met by our excellent driver Jose Rodriguez who got us to the venue before the large cruise groups, whilst giving us plenty of info about the local area on the way. The experience itself was excellent, I wish I had paid for the photo package which was very reasonable ($50). Several different jumps and slides, half decent swim shoes are a must. Jose waited for us then made sure we got a locally prepared lunch which was very nice and included in the price. Jose then took us back to the terminal in plenty of time and included a brief tour of Puerto Plata on the way back. All for about £50 a head (subsequently even less with a cashback offer from TopCashback), I think NCL wanted around $100 each, maybe more. Don’t be put off by worrying about your cruise departure time, these guys will get you there and back in plenty of time, a great operator and another shout out to Jose, who was very professional and a credit to the company.
