we booked the Meru Village full-day tour and it exceeded all our expectations! The whole experience was so peaceful, genuine, and full of joy. Our young local guide spoke fluent English, was super friendly, and provided fascinating insights into both Meru and Maasai cultures. Highlights of the day: Coffee Making: We picked and processed coffee beans ourselves. Learning that Meru and Kilimanjaro are the key coffee regions in Tanzania made it extra special. Drinking the freshly brewed coffee (super aromatic even with ground sediment!) while making music and dancing hand-in-hand with people from all over the world was a truly magical moment. Hidden Waterfall Walk: A quick 10-minute walk through lush nature to a serene hidden waterfall. Along the way, the guide showed us local plants and shared funny facts (like how giant gourds are hollowed out to hold water or local wine!). Delicious Local Vegetarian Lunch: The traditional home-cooked meal featuring Ugali, cooked bananas, beans, and local vegetables was fresh and surprisingly delicious—even our Norwegian tour-mates loved it! Fun Local Chats: Chatting about local fruit prices was hilarious (10 avocados for $1 USD compared to back home!). Yes, the drive on the bumpy roads is real "African massage," but it only added to the adventure! Had a really nice time on this excursion. The way to the waterfalls was very wet and muddy so to be prepared for that. The boys at the coffee tour were so much fun and the food they made for us was some of the best on our trip. The hot springs aren't hot, it like lukewarm water but they are so so pretty. I had a really good time. Be warned you go off road a lot so it gets really bumpy if you get motion sickness make sure to bring something to help

Good way to see a must see location

Ngorongoro crater is one of the most stunning places I have ever seen. My tour date was moved through no fault of the operator - the other people due to go on the original date cancelled at the last minute - but the tour itself was excellent. Good communication, good meals (breakfast and lunch are included) and an excellent driver/ guide in David. Highly recommend.

cannot recommend this safari enough! our guide samwel was funny, attentive, charismatic, drove safely, and took incredible care of us and his car! he cleaned his car every day. our chef salim was also incredible. the food was beyond my expectations. we saw all big 5 and all ugly 5. it was an incredible experience.

Amazing food and an even more amazing experience!

Wonderful experience! Joyce and Eva run this school with their students. It was amazing to hear about the work they are doing to help the girls and community. They were great communicators and made sure we had the best experience like asking what we wanted to learn to make. We chose mandazi as one of the dishes which was amazing! We got to use local tools like the little “goat” stool to shred coconut and a wooden whisk to blend the banana soup. They also helped to arrange our pick up and return to our hotel. And they packed up the extra mandazi donuts for us to enjoy with breakfast the next day. What a great way to start our Tanzania holiday! Thank you!
