It was a wonderful tour, very interesting, but how to get off of the bus when we wanted to was very unclear. We also tried to flag the bus down at one point when he started to slow down and then just took off.

Great tour of the city and surroundings with a very knowledgeable guide (Brian); really enjoyed the route and the wealth of information that we received. We saw the rich villas, beaches covered in driftwood, the city center, modern buidmings, gardens, statues and so much more.
Comfortable bus with good speakers and room for rainy weather; totally recommended.

I've visited Victoria many times over many years and always wanted to take the hop-on-hop-off trolley ride. This trip we did it. It was expensive but was far more of a tour than expected and we were pleasantly surprised. We rode up top where view is better and next time would have a warm hoodie.

Great way to see most of the city in a short time. The driver gives a brief history of each area. They play a recording explaining where you are.

Coming from a cruise ship, they were not prepared for the number of people who booked the tour. It was a long wait for a bus that had room for us. Once on the bus, the tour was really worthwhile. The driver was knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend this tour as a great start and overview of Victoria.

This was a fun way to get our bearings and decided where we wanted to hang out during our stay. Our driver, Leroy, was great! Highly recommend the tour. I do hop on-hop off whenever I get to a new place. Love it!

Very interesting tour….covered all the major sights….. some of the buses had covers on them which protected us from the wind but others had no covers….. my one criticism is lack of bus signs showing where the bus stops….. other than that I would recommend this tour

It’s a nice sightseeing trip to see Victoria.
Our driver , Brian was full of knowledge about the city, and some of its finer points!
I had the best halibut sandwich by fisherman’s wharf.

Do Not Book this tour in evenings! Star Princess arrives in port Saturday evening. The tour took our reservations and shouldn’t have! We got off in port with no one waiting for us and had to find a new tour. I requested a reimbursement right away. I called the company and they are very accommodating and we received our reimbursement. The city is absolutely beautiful so enjoy your excursions

The ticket "offices" are actually very small "RED BOX" stands sitting on the sidewalks. A huge help would be to fly a small red flag with your logo for distance visibility.

We were originally placed on a hybrid tour which was not what we expected. After driving around for an hour we were able to get on a regular hop on hop off bus. Since losing so much time, we were unable to see all the stops we were planning to see.

Hello! We do not operate "hybrid tours". If you got on at Ogden Point Cruise Terminals (stop #7) it continues the tour to stop #15 until you reach stop #1 again and repeats. Thank you!

We got off the cruise ship and started walking towards the main road and one of the pedicab guys told me we were going the wrong way and sent us over to empty busses. We finally found someone to direct us to the road where we missed the hop on by 1 minute. Waited 50 minutes for the next one and then found out it was a 25 minute walk to get our tickets. All very confusing. We enjoyed the commentary which was professionally done. When we got to the Empress Hotel we redeemed our voucher and waited until the tour continued 30 minutes later. We got off at Fishermen's Wharf and had a late lunch before returning to the bus stop and waited for the next bus. Had we known it was a 10 minute walk to the cruise ship dock......

It was great while we were on the bus, interesting facts, etc. But we waiting over 30 min past the time the bus was supposed to arrive at one stop, and over 45 min at another stop. What's the point of having a schedule of when the bus will be at a certain stop if it's not following the schedule?! We paid for the whole hop on/hop off ride but were only able to use it once. Had to get an Uber back to where we needed to be. Very disappointing and waste of money.

Thank you for your review. We do pride ourselves on staying on schedule, however, with 3 cruise ships in yesterday and increasing traffic and construction in our city, unfortunately sometimes it can affect the bus times.

If you come in on a cruise ship, you have to find your own way into town and find the Empress Hotel to exchange your Vistor purcháse for a boarding pass. Not being familiar with any surroundings, it took a little bit of time to figure out where the Empress Hotel was. So transportation into the city will cost you more money.

For future reference, if you’ve already purchased tickets, you’re welcome to board directly at our Ogden Point (cruise ship) stop. You can then hop off at the Empress Hotel stop to have your tickets scanned, which helps avoid the need to make your own way into downtown first!

Great experience, even the top of the bus was half covered.
We stopped at the Castle & fisherman's wharf for lunch.

Both guides we had were amazing! The lady…I want to say Anne? Was absolutely hilarious!! We went on a Saturday which was obviously busier than a weekday traffic wise and there’s some protest downtown which messes up traffic big time. All in all we would do it again!

If you're a first time visitor to Victoria this is a great way to get a feel for the city's popular sites. You can do the whole ride then go back to those you want to spend time at or hop off at one & catch a later bus to the next spot that grabs your interest. The bus is comfy & the narration was interesting & humorous.

The hop on hop off was a great idea if it did exactly what they stated. Wait times were extremely long, waiting almost 90 for a ride at some stops. Worse part was when the driver Hummingbird didn’t even stop to pick us up one time. Just lift her hands in a motion of “oh well” while she drove past the stop with no hesitation. She also made it really clear that she was in vacation mode when we first joined her and kept insisting that we donate to her vacation fund, aka give her a tip, plus made it awkward that she was running late and kept saying “this day is screwed up.” Overall, I suggest not booking with them, unless you like long wait times, want hear about the importance of tips and someone’s true opinion on topics that shouldn't be shared.
