We booked a transfer to the 25 Fontes Levada hike, and everything went smoothly thanks to Henrique. He was punctual, reliable, and very professional, providing helpful insights about the island during the drive. The hike was absolutely beautiful — lush, vibrant, and well worth the effort. Having a stress-free transfer made it all the better. I’d definitely recommend this tour.

We started early which we liked because there was no one at the 25 Fontes. Our guide gave us great directions.
The company communicates promptly and the transfer was on time. The walk is lovely but bad weather affects the view and can be slippery. Morning is best to avoid crowds, but take a flashlight for the start. Lots of steps and some steep inclines.
Fun trip - enjoyed it and would recommend 👍 Well worth the time and money. One of the best levadas to hike.
Lots of stairs! Very busy hike. I would almost say an earlier pick up time would be even better if you really want to experience the waterfall without crowds. Our driver Diogo was very nice and knowledgeable and punctual.
Diogo excellent .. punctual collection, assured driving, gave sensible expectations for the walk. Helped us arrange the hiking permits. A very enjoyable day.
It was great idea to start early we ended up having the entire trail to ourselves. It was great for having the waterfalls to ourselves for pics.
Hike was great, driver was great however the whole tour could be a hour less. We were nearly 3 hours waiting around for the driver yo collect the group
Filipe was a great driver, very safe, and very friendly. He explained the walk to us at the start very well and met us back at the starting point for pick up, giving a good amount of time to see all the parts of the walk and stop for a drink. He also suggested a little view up a slight hill which was brilliant.
The walk itself was easy enough to just follow the signs, take water and snacks as you will need the energy for the uphill climb back. But a beautiful walk.
Pedro was excellent, friendly, talked about the island. Highly recommend. There was enough time from drop off to hike both and pick up. He gave good advice.

The trip to the start of the hike was smooth and we got clear instructions from our driver Diago on how to begin the walk and the plan for pick up. He was really friendly and punctual. Great communication throughout the whole process!The hike itself was so beautiful despite zillions of steps! Would use this company again.
Hike was really enjoyable. Lots of stairs (unsurprisingly) but that’s par for the course here. I personally enjoyed the view at PR6.1 more. Pick up was prompt and Pedro gave us lots of information and also lots of food recommendations on the way back.
Lovely hike. Loads of stairs and going up - going down. Would recommend hiking before. Also: when you reach the waterfalls take enough pics it’s something else
This was a self guided tour but the driver was full of useful tips and advice which helped us greatly undertaking the walk
Henrique was friendly, helpful and gave us a lot of information about the island, as well as useful guidance about the walk(s) and he was punctual. The walk itself was really nice, highly recommend.
Even though we had some rain whilst walking, it didn’t stop us enjoying the activity. Easy to follow route and there really is no need to have a guided tour. It was nice to be able to walk at our own pace.
There are a lot of steps, which can be abit slippery when wet, so sturdy, waterproof footwear is essential. A bonus of seeing the waterfalls when it has rained, is that they are more spectacular and the levadas were full too.
Nice and straight forward self guided tour. We were picked up spot on time, Diogo was a good driver and answered our questions patiently. He took us to the starting point at the parking lot and explained the trail. Though the weather wasn't ideal, the trail itself was very beautiful and worth it even in the rain. We didn't go at 6 am even though most of reviews here recommend it, but it wasn't very crowded (I guess partially due to weather and time of year)

Very friendly driver who gave us good tips for the hike. He was right on time. The hike itself was very beautiful. I choosed the early departure and was very happy with my choice. We were the only persons starting the hike that early, while coming back we noticed the parking place was so crowded.
One thing I didnt like. After I made the booking the company confirmed and told me the details of the trip would be send to me the day before the hike, maximum 6 pm. However the details were send to me at 10 pm instead. By that time I was already asleep, because the hike started at 6 am in the morning. I went to sleep pretty nervous, because of not getting any reaction from the company.
Adrianna gave us a good briefing for our hike. She was really friendly and gave us lots of information about life in Madeira, lots of local info, I learned a lot as well as had a good hike. The 6am start is worth it even just to avoid the crowds and the heat. Flashlight is needed if starting at 6am other than that, it's an easy enough hike, lots of steps. There's a lovely cafe at the end with delicious cakes and Adrianna was not late picking us up.
Awesome, The guide didn’t stop answering the guests questions, Showing us sceneries and explaining the different trees, cultures, cooking, suggestions about other trips we should take in the future
Fantastic driver who shared a lot of info about the island during the transfers. Communication was crystal clear regarding the trails and drop off/pick up. This was so much less stressful than driving and trying to get parking. Highly recommend for such a popular destination.
Great experience, Adriana the driver was very nice. I would recommend doing the 6 am hike to have the levada for yourself in the early hours !
I chose to be picked-up at 6 A.M. and this is worth strong recommendation. Our driver, Pedro was very helpful. Instructed whole group about the hike. Starting as early is an absolute banger. You start when it is still dark, there are no people beside your small group, and while the sun is coming up, you follow this beautiful trail reaching the final point as the first ones during the day. You can go to two other PRs, what makes the tour even better. I highly recommend the tour, unbelivable experience.
Take your swimwear 😉go early as it gets really busy later on in the day, take some change for the toilet
Great trail. Definitely is good to go early and have it mainly all to yourself. Any later and the place starts to get packed. Be prepared for the weather. Raincoat and good walking shows with grips. Plenty of time to see everything. A lot of steps and down hill and then uphill. Adriana was excellent. She gave us loads of information and showed us extra beautiful areas on the drive back. Highly recommend.
Everything was as described, information and travel arrangements by the company were clear and on time, some parts of the walk were very steep but plenty of time to finish.
Such a lovely day! The weather was absolutely perfect, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The 25 Fontes and Risco hike is a nice, easy trail that offers incredible views along the way. The waterfalls are beautiful and definitely worth the walk.
I highly recommend coming early to beat the rush, as it can get quite busy later in the day. If you have spare time (and energy!), you can easily add another hike. Overall, a peaceful and scenic adventure!

This wasn’t just a self guided drop off and pick up service. It was so much more, because our driver - Henrique, filled the whole journey with his local knowledge and valuable advice for a traveller that wants to get the best experience of the area.
Transfer arrived on time, everything explained on the way, and picked up on time. Very friendly driver who gave lots of information and tips on what to see and do whilst in Madeira.
