We spent a wonderful day...
We spent a wonderful day touring Mt Fuji and the Hakone area with Lovely. She was very organized and punctual. The charter bus was extremely clean and comfortable. It was a long day but definitely worth doing.

Cautionary Tale
The success of the trip depends, of course, on Mt. Fuji. If Mt. Fuji is shrouded in clouds, the trip can be disappointing. For those interested in a bit of a hike, the trip to the pagoda provides some fun but the conspicuous "Watch Out for Bears" signs suggest it is best, if going much beyond the pagoda, to travel in a group of hikers rather than solo.

Mt fuji on a clear day - breath taking
Very good guide, coach was clean and driver was very good. Mt. Fuji was clear and we got some great photos (note guide does not come back with group on bullet train so get clear instructions prior on how to use tickets etc. if you haven’t used this system before) boat trip only ok would be ok on a summers day shrine and walk were good

Shy Mt Fuji Fun
Mt Fuji was being very shy but this didn’t spoil our experience. Our tour guide Sakura was amazing - friendly, funny, knowledgeable and full of love for Japan. We enjoyed visiting station 5 on Mt Fuji and riding the Hakone rope way. The pirate boat was some unexpected fun too. We highly recommend this tour.

Mount Fuji Experience
The trip was fine, the bus it was good. There is not enough time, giving for sightseeing, photos, shopping etc. Not enough time overall for the whole excursion to appreciate and absorb in your soul God's creation. We will remember the most, that we were rushing at all the time. The guide was good. I would recommend to start the excursion at 7:00 am, rather than 8:00 am and use this time for Owakudani we were given five minutes, this to me was unacceptable!
