Wonderful way to deepen your Thailand experience!
This was a great way to see an authentic Thai market, become more familiar with various food products and then learn how to make four signature Thai dishes! Sasi, our teacher, made the whole experience fun and enjoyable! I’d love to go back for more! Recommend this wholeheartedly.

Amazing experience
Amazing experience! Wendy and Sarah gave an amazing workshop, starting from the visit to the local market, including pickup from the hotel, amazing flavors, we are both vegan and they accommodated everything for us in the workshop, and that was very important.
Great experience

Great
A very good time with the family where we prepared 4 dishes that we tasted as we went along. Very professional and very dynamic chef. Before the preparations, we went to the market to buy the ingredients for our recipes. Bravo and thank you, everything was perfect.

Well run class with many food options
This was a very well organized class. Food options available for many tastes including vegan and gluten free. The main instructor was able to communicate the various directions as not everyone was making the same dish and she had many helpers. The market tour was also very interesting. The nearly hour ride from old center city Chiang mai was in one of the converted pickup trucks. If you get motion sickness riding sideways bring some Dramamine.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Our family...
Wow! Wow! Wow! Our family group if 8 people can't say enough about Tingly Cooking School and Chef CHO.
Cho was funny, professional and entertaining all while teaching us how to make 4 Thai favorites from scratch.
We arrived late after our driver got lost but CHO was waiting patiently. She took us on a walking tour to the market to gather our ingredients.
Then we made Tom Yum soup, Pad thai, green curry chicken and mango sticky rice.
Talk about YUMMY??
This was such an awesome experience
Book this. ASK FOR CHO

Excellent for Solo Travel!
This experience was EXCEPTIONAL! Jay, our guide, was funny and knowledgeable and helpful, answering all our questions and offering a wealth of knowledge of Thai ingredients, cooking methods, and cultural food history. I was traveling in Bangkok solo (female, late 30s) and booked this just two days prior. There were 8 of us in the group total, which was honestly perfect, and there was a perfect balance of prepping, learning, cooking, and most importantly, EATING. The red curry we made was out of this world. I liked that you could customize your spice level too. I would highly recommend this to solo travelers, couples, or a group of adults. Do the morning session, the market visit is a great way to start!

Delicious home cooked Thai lunch
Excellent afternoon starting with a visit to the fresh food market. Amazing array of herbs and spices. Back at the cooking school, each given our own wok and menu. Ingredients laid out for each dish and staff were very attentive, assisting you with the chopping and cooking. Music playing, Lots of fun and finished with an extravagant lunch. Make sure you are hungry- maybe skip breakfast. I recommend the spicy chicken salad, Tom yum goong soup and massaman curry. Highly recommend.

Workshop Thai cuisine.
Very nice and educational experience to get an impression of Thai cuisine.
Beforehand you had to indicate what you wanted to eat and during the workshop everything was well explained and you were guided if necessary.
The facilities were good and everyone had their own cooking area.
A full afternoon program with good explanations and a tour in your own garden.
Delicious 6 dishes prepared and good food. Highly recommended!

The course is delivered by...
The course is taught by an outstanding cook. We first go to the morning market of Lamai which is a real local market. Then we head to his house which is surrounded by a small garden with orchard and vegetable garden. The instructor is very attentive, didactic and professional.

Top course
We had a lot of fun, the instructor was very refreshingly easygoing and funny. And best of all, we smell delicious Thai dishes cooked under instruction and enjoyed afterwards. Extremely delicious!!! 5 out of 5 stars and a big thank you to the whole cooking class team.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Samping dynamic Thai food, with its fragrant herbs and spicy kick, is one of the best things about traveling in Thailand. If you’d like to create famous Thai dishes like som tam, green curry, or mango sticky rice by yourself, try cooking classes in Thailand where an instructor guides you in preparing Thai delights. Many cities in Thailand have cooking courses available, and some offer market tours, too, so you can see where those fresh flavors come from.
