The guided tour around Père Lachaise century was well organised, informative and friendly. Good choice of graves and interesting backstories. A lovely was to spend some time in a green space too. Andrea is a great guide. Recommended.

The very rocky and hilly graveyard
Not quite as ghostly and scary as I thought it would be, but still very interesting. A lot of walking up and down very rocky and narrow passages. You need to pay attention to where you’re stepping ! We were there for the Jim Morrison grave, but the others were very interesting. also Guide did a great job. A little long winded on some of the graves but still good job.

Great way to learn about the history of Paris
I would recommend this tour of Père Lachaise Cemetery. It is a great way to get a snapshot of the social and cultural history of Paris. Our tour guide Nelly Glorian was outstanding. She had an encyclopaedic knowledge of the cemetery and the history of Paris in general. Her expertise and enthusiasm really brought to life the stories of the people buried in this cemetery.
