An Absolutely Magical First Camel Ride & Desert Night!

I recently booked the Agafay Desert sunset experience, and it was the absolute highlight of my very first trip to Morocco! Everything was seamlessly organised, starting with a comfortable 45-minute drive from Marrakech. Our host, Tariq, was absolutely great—he was incredibly knowledgeable and shared fantastic insights with us throughout the evening, which gave us a wonderful introduction to the local culture. At the camp, we were welcomed with hot mint tea. Since this was my very first time riding a camel, I was a bit nervous, but the guides were incredibly patient and reassuring, making me feel completely at ease. Riding through the rocky dunes during sunset was unforgettable. Dinner was served under the stars in a beautifully lit tent. The food was delicious and authentic, featuring fresh Moroccan salads, flavourful chicken tagine, and couscous. The live entertainment was fantastic, starting with atmospheric traditional music during dinner and ending with an energetic fire-eating show around a central bonfire. Tariq and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to take photos and keep the energy high. It made my first visit to the country so special. I highly recommend this experience!

Great experience with a suburb guide - Fatima

Great one day trip to the mountain. Be ready for rain just in case. Nice hike to the waterfall. It is medium hike so be ready. Delicious mountain style Moroccan food. The guide Fatima is a very local knowledgeable person, she will share lots of valuable information about life in Morocco's mountains and the different cultures. We're s large group with five different spoken languages and she managed to talk to each group with the matching language and level. Very impressive, I would definitely go back for more trips with her.

Excellent experience!!! The day is just incredible, especially in comparison with the price paid: bus trip to the desert, pickup not far from our accommodation, quad activity, short camel ride, meal and evening entertainment with a fire show. The welcome is great and we learn about Berber customs (argan oil production). A big thank you to our guide, Noura, for her kindness, her benevolence and her professionalism. I recommend ++++++

Unfortunately, we weren’t able to go on our camel ride as my son wasn’t feeling well on the day. However, the team were really friendly, understanding and more than happy to offer us the chance to reschedule for another day. Really appreciated their flexibility and helpful attitude. Although we didn’t get to experience the camel ride itself, the customer service was excellent and I’d definitely consider booking with them again!

Brilliant Experience!

A great experience, collected at a pick up point at a time specified. First we stopped off at an Argan womens co-operative, where we were given tea, and a small snack and shown how the argan oil/peanut butter is made from the argan nut. Then we travelled to the desert, where we got to do the firdt two activities of the evening, Quad Biking and Camel Ride. After a safetly talk, we took off in a group on the quads, both experiences were about 30mins and while on the camels, we were able to watch the sun begin to set. Once we were finished, we jumped back in the bus, and headed to the base, were a lovely Tangine dinner was served. Great food and a lovely area. After dinner we sat to watch a fire show, fabulous experience. Highly recommend

She stayed in contact, organised the transfers smoothly, and ensured there were no delays or confusion. Ribaa was friendly, approachable, and made us feel safe and comfortable. Awesome time and close to Marrakesh

Really fun time on our last day in Marrakesh. Do it early as it’s so hot out there, we did 9am and would recommend that time. Nice stop for tea and traditional snack which was a surprise. Driver was on time and very polite. A young boy took us out on the quads and was grateful of a tip after.

All excellent!!

Excellent experience! I went with my two kids. The guide went to pick us up directly to the hotel, confirming all the details, which gave me confidence that the experience would go well! The guide was always very helpful and friendly, and the cart has air conditioning, which made transportation very comfortable. Arriving at the venue, after an explanation of the motorcycle operation and the following rules, we went to action and everything was very good! The tour was very pleasant and with a lot of adrenaline! We took several photos by the palm trees and lay down and drank tea in the middle of the desert. What a fantastic experience! In the end we were still cleaned of the accumulated dust with an air expressor. The courage of return was very fun, as the guide allowed to connect the phone to the vehicle and we came to listen to fun music. All spectacular!!!! Thank you

Great Experience and Amazing Staff!

Our driver picked us up and took us straight to the site where the camels are just outside the city. Yassin, who took us on our camel ride, was super friendly and informative the entire time. He stopped to take pictures and videos of us along the way. They invited us for tea and cookies afterwards which was perfect to end off the experience.

See a waterfall! Ride a camel!

We had the best time hiking and riding camels! Mustafa gave us an experience we will never forget. Be sure to bring sneakers or trail shoes for the hike. This is not a walk on paved sidewalks! There is a lot of crossing streams, jumping rocks and, well, really hiking!
