Qutaibeh was a fantastic driver (and guide!) for the 3-day trip down to Petra, Wadi Rum and Aqaba. He was timely with his arrival as well as suggesting for us to arrive early at key sights such as Petra to ensure that we had the best experience possible. Qutaibeh was extremely flexible, enabling us to see exactly what we wanted to see during our tour whilst also providing lots of useful and fascinating information about each sight, and about the general history and culture of Jordan as a whole. Excellent day trip to two iconic Jordanian sites

Excellent day trip to Petra and Wadi Rum. I was a bit apprehensive at first because I'm travelling solo and though I'd be amongst a group of couples and families. This was a small group tour consisting of four other solo travellers, Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our driver for the day Mahmoud Alkhawaja was great - super knowledgeable and an expert at driving long distances. It was a very long day of over 14 hours leaving my hotel at 05:30 and returning after 19:30; with three hours in the ancient city of Petra and around 70 minutes on the Wadi Rum desert jeep tour. A long day - yes. Exhausting at times - yes; especially walking through Petra in the 32C heat; but it was all totally worth it. The trip was well-paced and overall was a very enjoyable day when I made great memories and have some remarkable photos. Recommended!

Mr Qutaibeh Al_Akaileh (Mr Q) is an asset to this experience. He is courteous, knowledgeable and accommodating. Mr Q encouraged me that I could, in deed, climb the seemingly impossible rock formations. He personally negotiated my footing and offered his shoulders as support when climbing was a challenge. Anees the driver was excellent. Great English and very flexible with visits. Saved me money with local knowledge and tips especially when visiting the prime tourist spots. This tour was especially a great option when moving from Amman to the Dead Sea hotels as the company was able to change up the route and drop me off at my new hotel after our tour was complete. Will be reaching out again next time I'm in Jordan.

Wonderful Petra experience!

So good! I was so happy with this experience - recommended by a close friend in Australia, Viator provided great options and I chose the group transport to Petra Visitor Centre. Very good price and I understand it is very competitive due to lack of tourism currently. Geopolitics make us better travellers! Our driver was amazing, so punctual and amicable. I got joined up with a Japanese gentleman and we enjoyed the trip in silence - wonderful. Sometimes you need to contemplate the landscape only. Our driver provided information regarding many aspects of the experience, very helpful. Highly recommended!!

Excellent Tour Experience

In may 2026, we participated in the "Jerash, Aljoun, Umm Qais" tour arranged by the tour operator, R&H VIP Transportation Services. Our driver selected to take us on the tour was Mr. Shadi Almanasir. Shadi made our tour a wonderfully, memorable experience. Each of the stopovers were very interesting. At Umm Qais we hired a guide at the site. We viewed the two other sites, the Castle of Adjoin and Jerash, on our own. We had seen Ephesus in Turkey which we greatly enjoyed but I thought Jerash was much larger, better-preserved, and very impressive to see. I recommend this tour to anyone visiting Jordan. Regarding the tour operator, we had enquired whether they’d permit our driver to drop us off at a different location from our pickup. They happily agreed and thus, we were picked up in Amman but was dropped off in Petra. Thereafter, I requested the company’s driving services for 2 more days. We were lucky to have Shadi as our driver during those days. The first day, Shadi drove us from Wadi Rum to the Dead Sea with stoppages at Kerak Castle and the Pink Lake. The following day, Shadi drove us from the Dead Sea to Amman, with stoppages at Mount Nebo and St. George's Church in Madaba that houses the Madaba Map. We also stopped at the Cave of the Seven Sleepers that was along our route to Amman. In Amman, Shadi drove us to see the Citadel and the Roman Amphitheater before dropping is off at our hotel. Shadi is extremely professional and was very timely in working out the logistics of our various trips. He is a friendly and enjoyable driver who is very knowledgeable, providing us in-depth information about the various stoppages and sights throughout our trip. This tour, the tour operator, and our driver are all highly recommended by me and my family.

We had Omar as our lovely driver for the day and he made a long day easy! It was nice to have someone to ask about location guides and pricing. Omar would also pull over for beautiful vistas or tell us a bit about the area we were in. It made the whole day go so smoothly! We loved our time visiting the sites and would recommend.

Fantastic way to explore Petra

We had a fantastic day exploring Petra from the Dead Sea with our driver Bardaghawi. He messaged us the day before to confirm a pick up time and arrived at our hotel on time. He was very friendly and knowledgeable pointing out points of interest and stopping a few times on the way to take in the amazing views. On arrival at Petra he instructed us where to go and let us explore it at our own pace we just needed to message him when we wanted picking up. In my opinion this was a great way to see Petra as we weren't tied down to another people could explore at our own pace and really just enjoy the experience, thanks again Bardaghawi!

Petra definitely a world wonder!

Great excursion but definitely needed more time to see Petra. To get to the monastery at the end in the time allotted we had to take 2 golf cart lifts (15 JD pp- per ride, cash only) and a donkey ride (25 JD pp round trip) - but well worth it. Amazing views but bring cash (they also accept USD and Euros, just not credit cards). And wear comfy walking shoes! Wadi Rum and Dead Sea also cool. 😎 Our guide Ahmed was amazing!

Limited time, do this.

A great way to see the highlights with limited time. Our driver was really flexible. We were never rushed and had plenty of time to see everything as we wanted. He made certain we got to the entrances and that we knew what we were doing and where he would be waiting, which he was even if we were early. Great local knowledge. Felt really safe. Definitely recommend.
