Fantastic tour with Tim

We had an incredible tour around Hamburg with Tim. The city is beautiful but it was Tim that made the time special. He planned the tour to be about what we wanted to see through questions prior to the day of the tour and because he is a local, he had unique stories and information about so much of the city. His English is perfect so we could easily understand him. It was a great day and if you can get a tour with Tim, it is a must do in Hamburg!

Most fun had when it comes to history

Kalvin is very well informed about the city in Hamburg. He does the tour with so much passion, in my opinion, he‘s made for this. If any English speaking person were to come to Hamburg and ask what they can do, I’ll definitely recommend this. History is not really my thing, but Kalvin made it very fun and educative. We have visited multiple historic locations in Hamburg City center and Speicherstadt, learned about its history and laughed at jokes together with the amazing tour guide Lina. Time went so fast, that we were a little disappointed at the end that the 2 hours long tour was already over 😃 I would absolutely recommend the tour to everyone who enjoys visiting new cities and getting to know their history 😍

A fantastic tour of Hamburg with a very knowledgeable and friendly driver. We were picked up and dropped off right outside the terminal building and taken to places that we would never have found on our own. All very interesting. Much cheaper than getting the coach off of the ship. We were also given some tasters of local delicacies. Would highly recommend.

Judith knows Hamburg

Judith our guide understood what we wanted. We walked for five miles and saw all the sights we wanted to see. We got a good overview of Hamburg which is what we wanted. Nice pace, great chat, and no churches. Sadly, it was a Sunday and nothing was open. However we went by a lovely Sunday market and there was lots for sale.

Don’t turn up with no cash

A hazy start as we were at the exact Viator pick up point pictured but no guide. But after a couple of messages we meet up to start our tour. The tour itself was both fun and informative, but please bring along sum cash. Our tour was about 10-12 people and when the guide said he needed 3 euros per person to enter one bar, 4 had no cash. We paid for one couple ( 6 ) euros, and to keep the group intact I suggested the others could chip in for the other couple but no one offered leaving a somewhat sour taste. This also meant they were never going to tip the guide, who I think his name was Gunter and he was really good. So please remember fellow tour companions bring money with you, you don’t require a lot

We had a wonderful time with our charming guide Micheal. He was very knowledgeable and he showed us some very cool spots. The places we went to eat were also amazing, alot of variation in flavours. Would recommend this tour if you want to get to know the city a little bit more and also take breaks to eat lovely food.
