The Spiro Show: A Spirotacular Greek Cooking Class!! OPA!!!

Our cooking class with Spiros was an absolute delight. He’s a talented chef, a wonderful teacher, and a true showman who made the whole evening feel like dinner, theater, and a comedy set rolled into one. Plenty of divine intervention in the kitchen ;-) The food was delicious, the class was fun and welcoming, and Spiros made sure everyone left smiling. If you get the chance to cook with him, say a little prayer for your pie-and book the class.

A Fun Cooking Class with A Great Chef

The four of us had a great experience cooking and chatting with a wonderful chef and guests. The chef was also quite tolerant of my cooking skills and was an excellent instructor! After several hours of prepation, we enjoyed our meal with a nice selection of wine pairing (extra charge) with a view of the Acropolis. Need I say anymore? This was a really fun experience. If you go, you're in for a memorable evening.

A nice cooking class experience with some hands on in making our own meal. We tried a few wines. After the class we were sent an email with the recipes for what we made and a list of the different wines we tried. All very yummy and easy to remake the meal at home.

This was both a delicious...

This was both a delicious and fun way to spend a few hours. The instructor, Vasia, was very witty and knowledgeable. Everything ran very smoothly, we learned a lot while slicing, dicing, and drinking wine, and the group in general was full of interesting and friendly people. Top that off with a delicious traditional Greek dinner and we were very happy. Most enjoyable!

My husband and I have participated in many wine tastings as we have traveled around the world and this was the most informative wine tasting we have been too. Anastasia was very knowledgeable and fun. It was a delightful evening. The cheeses paired perfectly with wines and I learned so much. Never was there pressure to purchase anything. Cooking Greek style

You learn about olives, grapes farm animals and how it all fits in to Naxos Greece. The experience is born educational and delicious. Stamos , who was our guide around the farm in addition to helping us prepare the meal was terrific. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was so caring about each person's experience. Coming out meal was none other than the owner of the farm, who i learned recieved all his culinary skills from his grandmother. Additional, the all around best helper, Maria's granddaughter, (whose name i can't spell) was wonderful. We had a terrific experience and a terrific meal. One word of advice, if you come the middle of October or later, dress WARM. THANK YOU ALL IT WAS GREAT!!

We had a wonderful experience. Mary, our guide was very knowledgeable and ensured all in our small group had a great time. The wines were lovely and the sunset was amazing. It became cooler in the evening and we were provided warm coats to wear which was a thoughtful touch. Would definitely recommend.

Experience Cretan hospitality

We won't forget this experience anytime soon! A wonderful location in the middle of the mountains and such warm hosts! We really enjoyed the evening in nice company. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about Cretan history and life on Crete. In addition, we were able to take many cooking tips home with us and are already looking forward to a Greek evening with friends, where we will recreate the recipes. An all-around successful evening, a very special experience, and highly recommended!!!! We would love to come back ☺️

Enjoyable cooking lesson

The cooking lesson was a lot of fun and hosted by Amalia who gave us a great background to the origins of the recipes and how to cook Greek food. The location of the cooking class is convenient and a lovely outdoor setting to enjoy the food once it is cooked. I would highly recommend the class to anyone who would like to prep and eat some of the popular Greek foods.

So very worth it!

We did this tour on our first day in Greece and what an amazing experience it was! Our guide Sapfo was awesome! She’s friendly, kind as ver knowledgeable. She took us to places we may have missed on our own but were still able to find afterwards. We were stuffed by the middle of the tour but we really felt like we experienced Greek food. We sampled so many things that we were able to eat throughout our vacation. Thank you Sapfo! I’m so glad you were our guide. I’ll miss Greece but I plan to take as many foods with me as I can! This experience exceeded our expectations!
