Best thing to do in Granada
We had a great tour of the Alhambra, Generalife gardens and Nasrid palaces originally built by the Nasrid dynasty with some additional by the Spanish Christian monarchs. We had a great guide who shared insights on how Granada was ruled over the centuries. Beautiful architectures from the Nasrid influence. Well worth the visit.

This is a travel must-do. Having a guided tour elevates the experience exponentially. Ruth was our tour guide who we would in every way recommend; relaxed, knowledgeable, and organised, she made a great experience truly amazing.

The only way to see the Alhambra
Today we toured the Alhambra with Andrea. She was so pleasant and SO knowledgeable about the grounds and the history. Our friends did an independent visit and said "it was pretty, but I don't know what I saw." Ifelt bad that they spent 3 hours without learning anything. We cannot recommend this tour enough!

The Alhambra is an amazing experience. The guide we had was very knowledgeable and constantly checked in on how everyone was doing as it is a 3-hour tour. This is a must do experience in Granada

Worthwhile to go in a tour; few have knowledge to appreciate site without expertise of a guide and you could easily get lost with multiple buildings and rooms.

Very Informative Tour Guide — A+
He reached out the day before and twice the morning of the tour. It was so easy meeting up with him for the tour.
He was very informative and knew his history of the Alhambra. We listened to every word he said. Highly recommend our tour guide. We give him a A+

Alhambra
The views of the castle, gardens, and Sierra Nevada mountains are amazing. Lots of walking. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.

Very good tour
Very good guide, helped us get through all the controls as this a UNESCO heritage site, security is very tight.the site is quite big so you need to be reasonably fit. Beautiful place, the guide Mar was very knowledgeable and lively.

Very Organized and Timely
My husband and I had a great time with this tour. Our tour guide, Jana, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She had a lot of information to share with us and did a great job keeping us organized and on time, especially when we needed to arrive for our schedule time for the Nasrid Palace.

Absolutely Wonderful!
We had the pleasure of having Abubakr as our tour guide and it was nothing short of amazing. I know that 3 hours might sound intimidating and like something you might check out of halfway through, but Abubakr was so fun and really told a story as you walked through the Alhambra. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting a fun and fascinating tour. We learned so much that we could’ve never discovered in our own. For reference it was my husband and I and our two daughters. What a blast.

When to visit

The Generalife Gardens are a must-visit for all first-time visitors to Granada.
Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to do quite a bit of walking.
Don’t forget to bring sun protection, as southern Spain can get very hot.
Strollers are not permitted on the grounds of the Generalife, so plan to bring a baby carrier if needed.
The Generalife Gardens are mostly wheelchair accessible, and there are modified tours that cater to—and include—wheelchairs.
