A must do in Athens!
We started our tour with a stop in a bakery; we each were given a spinich, cheese and a sweet pie….delicious! The second stop was a honey tasting with an interesting explanation of each type. The third stop was a deli with an assortment of meats, cheeses and olives. And the final stop was a delicious sit down lunch, the highlight of our tour. We then had dessert nearby. Our guide, Zeffie, was lovely and very informative.

Fantastic Food Tour!
Our food tour of Athens was a fantastic experience! Our guide, Jenny, was exceptional and surpassed our expectations. She full of knowledge about the districts of Athens, gave a ton of background information about the foods we shared, and genuinely excited about the work that she does. She is very proud to be a native and her love of Greece comes across in her tour. The food stops were great & we were fed well- leaving with full bellies and new knowledge of the Athens area. We highly recommend this tour with Jenny.

A Must-Do Culinary Experience in Athens!
If you’re visiting Athens, don’t miss the chance to take a cooking class with Chef Spyros! This was one of the highlights of our trip and so much more than just a cooking lesson: it was a fun, interactive, and memorable experience.
Together we prepared an incredible four-course Greek meal, with a side of fresh homemade tzatziki, and every dish was absolutely delicious. Chef Spyros created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere that everyone felt comfortable getting involved. He made the class engaging, educational, and entertaining, sharing not only cooking techniques but also the stories and traditions behind the food.
I left with new skills, greater confidence in the kitchen, and recipes I can’t wait to make for family and friends back home. Whether you’re an experienced cook or a complete beginner, this class is an unforgettable experience and one I highly recommend to anyone visiting Athens. You’ll leave with amazing memories, delicious food, and a true taste of Greek hospitality.

Fun Way to Learn about Cuisine (and a delicious lunch)
We did this cooking class on our second day in Athens as a fun activity to break up days in the sun exploring the city. It ended up being one of the best memories from our trip! Within view of the Acropolis- It was a small class- only 5 of us, and our chef walked us through creating multiple dishes in less than 2 hours.
We made stuffed grape leaves, fresh tzatziki, Greek salad, cheese pies, an eggplant dish resembling moussaka and even little baklavas. The chef instructor was so fun to learn from- teaching techniques, explaining why each step influences the dish, and having us sample along the way. In between each, her sous chef would come over and clean up the stations so quick, replacing prep materials and helping us flawlessly transition to the next dish.
Once all the items were completed, they served our lunch to us and we were shocked at how we cooked something so delicious. It was such a cool experience and I’d highly recommend it!
Just a quick note- from the road, the building doesn’t look that awesome and isn’t in the best part of town, so definitely make sure you have a driver. Once you go inside and venture up the elevator though, the cooking studio is clean and beautiful and worth the visit. If you’re looking for something fun to try with your family or a small group of friends, this is a great way to learn (and taste!) some culture.

So very worth it!
We did this tour on our first day in Greece and what an amazing experience it was! Our guide Sapfo was awesome! She’s friendly, kind as ver knowledgeable. She took us to places we may have missed on our own but were still able to find afterwards. We were stuffed by the middle of the tour but we really felt like we experienced Greek food. We sampled so many things that we were able to eat throughout our vacation. Thank you Sapfo! I’m so glad you were our guide. I’ll miss Greece but I plan to take as many foods with me as I can! This experience exceeded our expectations!

True Greek Food Basics
Exactly what we were looking for! This class with Irini was a complete meal, all timed to finish at the same time for an incredible meal. A simple feta/oregano pie, sausage with peppers & onions, omelet with tomatoes, tzatziki & pita, and greek salad. Our instructor, Irini was charming, patient, and made these dishes easy to understand and replicate. They send the recipes to you afterwards, in case you forget. We highly recommend doing this before you head home so you can take a bit of Greece with you to share with family & friends of course!

Fun time at the cooking event
The room is up two flights if stairs plus walking through the market. We just looked at the items for sale, we didn’t buy anything for our meal . There were 16 of us in the class. It was so much fun. I never dreamed how much olive oil is used in making the dishes. We made appetizers, main dish and dessert.

So good it keeps a jet lagged family engaged
We loved this! Did it on the day we landed so we’re really jet lagged, but did not feel tired through any of it. We made EVERYTHING we ate. The pork, pitas, dips, dessert…so good! My teenage kids weren’t too keen on the menu to begin with, but they ate it all. The owners keep you engaged through the entire thing. We learned about family customs and history of some of the Greek food as we were cooking. If you don’t eat all you cook (cause you cook A LOT), you can take it with you. Or they donate it to those in need in the community. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Cannot recommend enough! Highlight of our trip!
Byron was an amazing chef/teacher and was so friendly, knew tons about Greek cooking, and was patient with my daughter who is 7yrs old. I loved this class, highly recommend it. The traditional Greek dishes we made were delicious. Amazing view and location too!

Best wine tasting yet!
Absolutely brilliant! Easy to find via google maps. Anastasia was great. It was just myself and husband and having done quite a few wine tastings I think this was the best yet. Good mix of history and Greek mythology thrown in and advice for wine. The five wines were different and very well paired with the cheeses. Can’t rate highlight enough! Thank you
