Come out to a real arctic ranch! just 10 minutes from alta city, Flatmoen Farm lays in quiet surroundings with wilderness in 3 directions. We will pick you up from your stay, then head out to the farm. We will great the horses and talk a little bit about how the different horses work Now the fun begins. Depending on your riding level, we will head out to the woods either walk, trot or gallop. The trees hanging over the small path in the forest, completely covered in snow. Surrounded with nature, the only sound you can hear is the horse’s footsteps and heavy breath in the crisp cold air. Set out in search of the northern lights—and explore the landscape in a more active way than most other hunts—on this all-terrain vehicle (ATV) adventure from Alva, including hotel transfers. Drive to the village of Kviby, receive a safety briefing, and hop onboard your own vehicle. Zoom along coastline terrain, look out for the aurora borealis, and travel with guides who know the best viewing spots.

Seiland is a unique and beautiful part of Western Finnmark’s island nature, with small and large fjords surrounded by steep mountains that plunge into the sea. On this trip we take you on an exciting RIB boat ride across the Alta fjord, past picturesque mountains towards the far end of the fjord.

You will start your adventure with a 30 min drive up to our historical Gargia Lodge. From the lodge we will embark on an adventure into the Gargia forrest. Along the 2km long trail you will get to breath in the crisp forrest air and maybe experience wildlife also. After around 1,5 hour we will reach the waterfall, a magnificent conductor, orchestrating its dance over the ancient rocks. On the riverbank we will enjoy a short rest with coffee, tea and snacks. Holmen Husky is a racing and breeding kennel with more than forty years behind it. This is not a show put on for visitors — it is a working home built around one animal: the Alaskan husky, the finest long-distance runner alive.
