Amazing cultural expérience with Anisa

We had great day with our...

We had great day with our driver Vega. He was very knowledgeable and made sure we all had a great time. Pick up was on time and communication beforehand was very good. Vega suggested to do the temples in reverse order to beat the crowds which actually worked out very well - this way we got to take pictures at Borobudur in the golden light of the late afternoon. Both temples are amazingly beautiful and definitely worth visiting. The jeep tour was a fun intermission, unfortunately Merapi was hidden in clouds the day we went but on a clear day I’m sure it’s a spectacular sight. The mini museum was interesting for a perspective on the force of destruction of one of the most active volcanoes on earth. All in all, thank you for the amazing day!

Fajar was great! So was the overall package.

Fajar was a great! He explained various aspects of Indonesian culture to us on the drive and also hand held us through the entire evening, handing us off to the tour guide, later taking us to the dinner, even recommending what my pescitarian daughter could try out, and eventually seating us in the Ballet VIP area. I needed to pick up meds for my daughter and Fajar stopped on the way back to the hotel and helped me get the meds. He is a very nice human being and anybody who gets paired up with him will be in great and very friendly hands! Both the dinner and Ramayana ballet were also excellent. The icing on the cake is the beautiful setting of the resto, with a full view of the temples.

Good morning hike up to the hill. We were not lucky as it was foggy day, but can get a feel and picture of “being above the cloud”. The temples simply breathtaking and the Merapi tour reminded us of our frail humanity and the nobel sacrifice of volunteers who tried to bring people to safety.

What an incredible experience!! Our tour guide Atok was so friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us fantastic suggestions for the rest of our stay in Jogja. The sunrise tour of Borobudur temple was beautiful and well worth waking up early for. Despite the sun visible through the clouds for only a brief moment, the ripples of the colorful pallete it cast over the surroundings and the temple were breath-taking and not to be missed! The jeep tour of Mt. Merapi was an exciting adventure with many different stops with views of the volcano, paired with educational moments of how the volcanic activity impacts local life. We finished the day with a tour of many temples within Prambadan which Atok told us the local folklore along with the history behind many of the impressive structures. We highly recommend this trip!! Temple Tour is Top Notch

Both temples were incredible. The early morning climb up Borobudur was worth it even with overcast skies. The sense of peace and sound of the breeze and birds. — only about 20 people up there with you. You can take such nice pictures without all the people around. Our Borobudur guide, Alvin, had so much information for the group. He really, really added to the whole experience. My Viator driver, Matt, was super organized and right on time. He was very patient with all my questions. As always, I’m impressed with other cultures’ command of the English language. I sadly only know English. Again, such friendly, kind people — truly enjoyable experience.

It's wonderful. The tour operator communicated with via WhatsApp before I even embarked on my journey. My driver/tour guide, Utama picked me up promptly at my hotel. He was friendly and we had a nice conversation along the way. At my request, he made two extra stops. Im truly enjoy this tour.
