During communism time was used for military purposes, hence its beautiful frescos are deteriorated and in need of immediate restoration. Sveti stevan / budva tour

The tour was well-planned from start to finish. The location where we were picked up in the morning was announced the day before via WhatsApp groups. We were constantly in contact. They explain everything beforehand so you don't have any questions left in your mind. Our guide Valeria was incredibly sweet, kind, polite, and very understanding; I thank her very much. Also, our driver Tina drove the car very well; we had a smooth journey there and back. The tour from Tirana to Budva took approximately 4.5 hours, and the return trip was the same. We stopped in Sveti Stevan and then went to Budva Old Town. Budva is a very beautiful and charming seaside city. You can see everything in a short time; the tour duration is quite sufficient.

Had a great tour to Berat! It was well organized and timely. The tour guide, Denis, was very knowledgeable about Albanian history and of course, Berat. Best of all, he had great recommendations on local wines and food (even helped us get a table in a jam packed restaurant)!

A Great Day At A Great Price

Our day trip started with a pickup from outside Farmici First, which was our meeting point on all three trips we took . A couple of stops to pick up a few others and the mini bus was on its way to the first stop. Just over one hour of slow climbing up Mount Kruje on very twisty roads and we were at our first stop the 'Temple of Sari Salltik', a Bektashi cave shrine, consisting of a water fountain, a small mosque and a bust of the saint. Certainly something different and with some great views. A short journey and we were in Kruja for a walk through the bazaar where we stopped and were given a brief demonstration of traditional Albanian musical instruments. The bazaar had plenty of souvenir type things to buy but not really for me. After the bazaar we headed upto the castle, we were left to our own devices here and had a good walk around before popping into the museums (you have to pay for these). In the free time we had left we went back down to the bazaar and grabbed a snack and drink before heading back to the minibus and our journey back.. At around 7-8 hours and costing just £20 each it was a bargain and highly recommended if spending more than a couple of nights in Tirana.

Good excursion !

It’s a very pleasant outing. Not too long or difficult regarding the short hike, just what was needed. All for a very good value for money. Very beautiful views of the lake both from above and from the restaurant. Eduardo was a very good guide. I highly recommend.

I had this tour yesterday (20 Oct) and the guide is Armela who is very knowledgeable. She is very pleasant and willing to help always to make sure everyone is ok. At the Albania-Kosovo border, we remained in our car and she collected our passports for the officer. The process is smooth and quick. We chose to have our passports stamped although it's unnecessary. Time management is quite good too, without long break in the middle of the ride - only 15 mins for toilet or some snacks. It's already a long 14.5-hr day tour (6am to 8:30pm) and everyone wanted to reach the scenic spots or finally return to hotel earlier. 3 hrs spent in Prizren, 2 hrs in Pristina, a very well balanced and time allocation. I particularly like the free time given to us. I could be on my own once getting off basically and enjoy my time to explore around. The vehicle is not a bus, so spent less time for pickup and dropoff. But it's full and the guide was so generous (sacrificing) to sit on the floor next to the door herself so that a customer could take her seat in the front. Connectivity is very poor in Kosovo and the tour operator has kindly arranged free WiFi at the cities for us for communication and places / restaurants recommendations/ pickup location. Still spotty connection though. This tour is highly recommended. To me, Kosovo was a mysterious place and I was glad that I have been there by now.

Great … but long … day! Learned rich history of Kosovo and the Kosovars!

Despite it being a veeerrry long day … 6:30 AM to 8:30 PM. The driver and guide made this trip great! Everything felt organized and smooth and timed!! Mela, the guide was extremely pleasant and fun and engaging! Spoke a lot and gave great and smart introduction to understanding Albania and Kosovo and the people of the two nations. Gave great lunch place recommendations as well. Very well put together trip despite being sooo long of a day … but small bus transport was decently comfortable.

Albania Night – a cultural achievement

The Albania Night was simply mega beautiful. The artists succeed brilliantly in making the rich Albanian culture tangible through acting, music, and dance. The impressive choreography, the precise dances, and the captivating stage presence of the artists manage to seamlessly connect tradition and modern interpretation. Since I am a dancer myself, I was particularly critical, but the performance convinced me: Every scene was cleanly thought out, the movements powerful yet expressive, the expressiveness of the performers palpable. The acting performance created depth, so that one experienced the stories behind the dances firsthand. First-class show with a lot of heart that one must see. Absolute recommendation – I would book the show again anytime.

Long day but covered a lot of ground. Very knowledgable guide, great sense of humor and the bus driver does an excellent job . We had a full bus (52) and Toni kept us up to date on everything from pickup to timings at each stop. Highly recommend this tour of some of the highlights of Albania

Sindi was a great hostess and teacher - funny and very hospitable. Wine and water were provided - as much as you wanted. Learned some valuable techniques for phyllo dough prep that I will certainly use again. Lamb dish and vegetarian options were both excellent with lots of food to take away after eating together. Great camaraderie among the participants. Highly recommend.
