A Great Day At A Great Price
Our day trip started with a pickup from outside Farmici First, which was our meeting point on all three trips we took . A couple of stops to pick up a few others and the mini bus was on its way to the first stop.
Just over one hour of slow climbing up Mount Kruje on very twisty roads and we were at our first stop the 'Temple of Sari Salltik', a Bektashi cave shrine, consisting of a water fountain, a small mosque and a bust of the saint. Certainly something different and with some great views.
A short journey and we were in Kruja for a walk through the bazaar where we stopped and were given a brief demonstration of traditional Albanian musical instruments. The bazaar had plenty of souvenir type things to buy but not really for me.
After the bazaar we headed upto the castle, we were left to our own devices here and had a good walk around before popping into the museums (you have to pay for these).
In the free time we had left we went back down to the bazaar and grabbed a snack and drink before heading back to the minibus and our journey back..
At around 7-8 hours and costing just £20 each it was a bargain and highly recommended if spending more than a couple of nights in Tirana.

Knowledgeable Guide Armela
I had this tour yesterday (20 Oct) and the guide is Armela who is very knowledgeable. She is very pleasant and willing to help always to make sure everyone is ok.
At the Albania-Kosovo border, we remained in our car and she collected our passports for the officer. The process is smooth and quick. We chose to have our passports stamped although it's unnecessary.
Time management is quite good too, without long break in the middle of the ride - only 15 mins for toilet or some snacks. It's already a long 14.5-hr day tour (6am to 8:30pm) and everyone wanted to reach the scenic spots or finally return to hotel earlier. 3 hrs spent in Prizren, 2 hrs in Pristina, a very well balanced and time allocation.
I particularly like the free time given to us. I could be on my own once getting off basically and enjoy my time to explore around.
The vehicle is not a bus, so spent less time for pickup and dropoff. But it's full and the guide was so generous (sacrificing) to sit on the floor next to the door herself so that a customer could take her seat in the front.
Connectivity is very poor in Kosovo and the tour operator has kindly arranged free WiFi at the cities for us for communication and places / restaurants recommendations/ pickup location. Still spotty connection though.
This tour is highly recommended. To me, Kosovo was a mysterious place and I was glad that I have been there by now.

Fantastic
It is quite a short but very intense walk up, which felt a bit rushed (because when we got to the top we were told the rest of the time was our own).
The views and the location were beautiful making the whole trip worth while and our guide was friendly and informative. The drive was bumpy but our bus driver was excellent.

Being able to make a day...
Being able to make a day trip to another country from Tiranë was great. North Macedonia is beautiful. Our guides (Nolan from Tiranë and Martina in Ohrid) were both great. They explained historical facts about the areas we visited and made sure everyone had a good time.

Ksamil & Saranda.
This is our second time on tour with Clyde. He lived up to our expectations, listened to our wishes and we felt safe the whole way. A long journey, but a pleasant one. The blue eye made a particularly good impression. The driver drove confidently along the beautiful mountain roads.

Albanian Dance show and meal
You have not been to Albania unless you have experienced this show.
We were dressed up in costume, and took our seats for not just a dance show but a story with the audience participating in the dancing.
We opted for the meal after the show - traditional Albanian food - really delishious. Please let them know of any dietary requirements or allergies and they will work up an alternative.
Truly one of the best shows I have been to in a long time - well worth a visit.

Highly recommend for an introduction to Tiranë and Albania.
Great tour to take as an introduction to Tiranë and Albania. Very well organised, easy to find them with their red umbrellas with flags for the language of your choice.
Eri was our guide and was a font of information all about Albania, the history, the sights, everyday life.
Highly recommend this tour - wear comfortable shoes.

Such an interesting place
We learned so much on this tour! Our guide Armela was so informative and factual and personally she made each and every person feel welcomed and included. She was funny, engaging and presented the history of the country/region in an understandable and captivating way. It was such a great balance between history and nature!

A relaxing and enjoyable day in Durres
I had a lovely day exploring Durres. It was a nice mix of history, sightseeing and free time to enjoy the beach and walk around the city.
A special thanks to our guide, Bledi Nuzi, who was friendly, knowledgeable and organised throughout the day. He shared interesting information about the places we visited while keeping the tour relaxed and enjoyable.
Overall, it was a well-planned day trip and a great way to experience one of Albania’s coastal cities. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an easy and enjoyable day out from Tirana.
