Sand Bay is an excellent family-friendly beach in Weston-super-Mare, where you can enjoy a spot of beachcombing.

Horseback riders, dog walkers, and bird watchers are all common sights on Sand Bay beach.

The north end of the bay is overrun with spiky grasses.

There are a number of cafés and tearooms the length of the beach where you can enjoy a snack and a warm drink.

Due to its sand and shingle shoreline, Sand Bay beach is not easily accessible to wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.
