AMAZING! First stop La Quirinca was excellent tried the fabulous wine and pisco (new obsession) try the Apple and “fireball” together wow!! Next stop Santa Ema our local guide was so knowledgeable and just amazing! We had lunch at TerraMater delicious I had a pork chop and my husband the steak cooked great and very delicious. For desert we had the maracuya cheesecake. Store was nice picked up some olive oil. Next stop was Undurraga winery nice tour of the winery very informative. Tasting great and we got to keep our glasses as a souvenir! Such nice touch!!! Book it!!!!!! Esme and our driver spectacular

Oskar was THE BEST guide, and our driver was punctual and safe. Vina del Mar and Valparaiso are beautiful, and Oskar took time to explain their histories, which made the trip so educational and more valuable than if we were to explore on our own. He recommended a fantastic restaurant in Valpo, Raiz Chilena, for lunch. The carne mechada with a side salad and a Pisco Sour was the perfect lunch! Our final stop at the Emiliana Vineyard exceeded expectations with its delicious, organic wine. Book this trip now! You will be so happy you did. Andale y buen viaje!

Fantastic introduction to Santiago. A must book!

An extremely informative introduction into Santiago and Chile's history. Katy was knowledgeable and provided great insight into all of the stops on our tour in the historic district. She read the room and geared the tour to our interests and answered all questions. She was very personable and generously shared with us every day life of a young Chilean. We had a late transfer from the airport and Katy waited 15 minutes for us, as we were the only participants on the tour and she made us feel immediately comfortable. She communicated the day before the tour and it made it easier to slightly alter our start time. At the end of the tour, Katy provided us with an excellent dinner recommendation at a local establishment. Five stars for the tour and 10 stars for Katy.

The Amazing Andes.

Had a great day. Esme our guide and Isaac our driver were amazing. The trip was everything we expected. The winery, the Andes scenery and the crazy switchback road up to the Portillo ski fields And the Inca Lake were the highlights. Esme switched between English and Spanish with ease. A long but enjoyable day.

Outstanding

Out of 6 wine tours I did in South America, this was easily the most memorable. Álvaro, the driver/guide, was right on time for pickup and a super lovely guy who speaks excellent Portuguese and English (as well as Spanish). The wineries we visited for tastings were excellent: firstly, Emiliana, which has a beautiful organic farm complete with alpacas, where we sat down for a flight of four wines with paired nibbles. Then Casa del Molle, a passion project for the owner Gabriel (also trilingual) who showed us how he and his wife are creating a self-sufficient farm (with more alpacas, among other animals) and producing small-batch wines by hand (literally hand-crushing the grapes in a barrel) before pouring samples of their sauvignon blanc and syrah in their light-filled, barrel-inspired tasting room. Then at Bodegas RE, we tried a couple of their unusual blends, 'pinotel' and 'cabergnan'. No long explanations of the wine-making process (which I saw many times in Mendoza) - just good wines in beautiful places with friendly people. Finally, we had lunch at Tanino restaurant at Casas del Bosque, a much busier and touristic venue, but very nice. I 100% recommend choosing this tour to visit the Casablanca Valley wine region.

Overall, an excellent experience!

I highly recommend this tour, especially if you get Francisco as your driver and guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and kept the entire day engaging and entertaining. The logistics were seamless; we received a WhatsApp message the night before with our exact pickup time, and Francisco was prompt meeting us in our hotel lobby the next morning. The bus was decently comfortable for the drive up. A quick tip for future travelers: it gets very cold up in the mountains that early, so definitely bundle up. If you don't have winter gear, you can easily rent proper clothing at the breakfast stop and return it after lunch. We lucked out with very little ice on the roads during our visit, so we were able to get by trekking in just sneakers. While the designated breakfast and lunch spots were nothing special and a bit pricey for what you get, the food was still decent. The traditional folk picnic was a lot of fun. We played games, enjoyed the provided wine and snacks, and even got to watch some traditional dances. Overall, an excellent experience!

Great Overview of Santiago

This was a great overview of the interesting sights in Santiago. We rode the whole circuit without getting off until the end. Then we rode the cable car up and the funicular down to the place where we started. One draw back is that there are no signs on the street so it is a little bit difficult to find the stops. You have to play close attention to the intersections on the map. Although the buses seemed to be infrequent, we were able to get on without a long wait. The man who greeted us and announced the stops was very helpful. We felt that we were able to see a lot and have a fulfilling day given our limited time in Santiago. The cable car and funicular were a highlight.
