What are people saying about Santiago

Great half day tour
We had a great tour with Eugene seeing the various sites of the city. The view from the top of the gondola was magnificent. One of the travelers in our group had her ATM card taken by the machine and he offered to help us get it back from the bank. So much knowledge about the history, highly recommend.

Great tour with knowledgeable, fast-talking guide
Eugene was very knowledgable about history, culture and architecture and welcomed all our questions The tour was packed with great sites and information, but was still comfortably paced and gave us time to take pictures and explore our interests. Highly recommend, and brace yourself for the fast flow of facts!

Elias was the best!
We used this company for several of our transfers while in Santiago, and was lucky enough to get Elias for most of them. Great communication, exactly what we needed after hopping of a plane fresh from Australia with hardly any Spanish under our belt. Always on time and always let us know exact pick ups and meeting places. I would not hesitate in recommending him, and hope to use him again when we go over next.

Fantastic horse riding experience.
This was a wonderful experience. The horse was well trained and very gentle. The views were fantastic. The guide was personable and very caring. I highly recommend this experience for anyone that enjoys horses and wants to experience a different side of Santiago.

Safety first. Excellent driver, excellent communication, very reasonable.
After reading about the very sketchy airport taxis I knew right away to pre book transportation for the safety of myself and my family. This experience with Grupo Futuro was exactly what I had in mind. They met us at the airport, personally escorted us to the vehicle, and had their professional driver, Mister German, safely drive us to our hotel in the business district of Santiago. I will no doubt utilize their services again next time I am in Santiago. Avoid the taxis, and use Grupo Futuro, it’s the smart thing to do.

Amazing day trip from Santiago
This tour was one of the highlights of my time in Chile! Seeing a penguin in the wild, another item checked off the bucket list! Jimmy is a great guide and took care of every single detail. The Chilean picnic was delicious and great way to start paragliding. If you’re in Santiago and want a day that combines wildlife, adventure, and amazing Chilean food, this tour is 100% worth it!

Smooth ride
It was easy to arrange our ride on the internet. The follow up reminders were helpful. The driver was on time, the vehicle was comfortable, and the ride was smooth. Even though local taxis could have been hired for the 1.5 hrs ride at half the price, for our peace of mind (non Spanish speakers), it was well worth it for us to go with an established travel outfit.

Best way to get to your cruise ship!
Fabulous experience. Great communication the evening before to let us know exactly when to be ready. Pablo was a great guide - lots of information, fun personality. Stopped at a winery along the way for a tour and tasting. Walking tour through Valparaiso which was delightful. Happy to recommend!

More than a transfer
Carlos was communicative friendly and very informative. We had a steady conversation as he easily used a spanish/english translator to explain things played through the car audio. So it was like a mini guided tour. Also made sure we got to the checkin point before leaving. More than just a transfer

A fantastic excursion, start to finish!
My adult daughter and I booked this as a half day outing when we were in Santiago for several days. Easy to reserve online, and bonus points that Ecordua picks up directly at our hotel! Our guide, Frank, was friendly, knowledgeable, and full of enthusiasm for the outdoor activities available in the greater Santiago area.
As others have noted, the hike is rocky and steep for the first 15 minutes or so, but becomes a nice dirt path after that. The provided hiking poles were helpful for stability.
When we asked what flora/fauna we might see, Frank gave a short list which included small reptiles, rabbits, and condors. Not five minutes later, a HUGE condor circled right above us, what a tremendous sight!
The hike felt good - a moderately challenging hike that left us feeling accomplished, but, not worn out.
We enjoyed the wine/cheese picnic after (with yummy strawberries, stuffed olives, chips, etc.), and continued chatting with Frank about the local area, and our trip in general.
Really, a lovely outing, we recommend this!
