What are people saying about Santiago

Outstanding
We had an outstanding tour and can highly recommend our guide Pablo! His knowledge was exceptional—not only about the food, but also about the people, the history history, politics, economy, and culture of the region. He answered every question with great expertise and made the entire experience both super engaging and insightful. It seems that everyone at the market hall knows him and that made it very special for us too. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would not hesitate to book another one with him anytime. Thank you for a fantastic experience, Pablo - you rock!

Great Experience in the Andes
Many compliments to Hermo for all the attention and professionalism on this tour. I could not have asked for a better guide. The tour was well planned and executed. The snack was a pleasant surprise and could have not asked for a better day and guide to be with.

Great morning on the Central market bike tour
We had a great morning exploring Santiago parks and the central market on our bikes. Isabella our guide was excellent. She took great care of us and provided really interesting information

Outstanding Service at the Airport
So I was a bit annoyed when our driver was ten minutes late picking us up from the hotel. I’m a nervous flyer and wanted plenty of time to drop bags, go through passport control and security. Carlos was excellent. He navigated the airport, parked the car and wheeled our luggage into the terminal and directly to priority check in. That was an added service you don’t get with uber or a taxi. Well worth the investment!

Start your trip to Santiago with this tour.
Superb! Claudio was not only a terrific tour guide but also took some fun candid pics of our family visiting some of Santiago’s neatest places. We started our trip with this tour and I cannot think of a better foundation for our spring break visit to Chile. Claudio was insightful, knew a lot of history, where to take us, and most of all was fun. Very glad we booked this tour!

Outstanding tour
The guide, Leon, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helped me walk on uneven surfaces and stairs. The pace of the tour was perfect. I saw everything I wanted to see. The driver and vehicle were great too. I highly recommend this private tour. Worth every penny.

Penguins Galore!
We were very excited for the opportunity to see Humboldt penguins in the wild, but were a bit apprehensive since we weren’t sure that we would actually see them. After the drive from Santiago to Zapaller, we set off for a very exciting ride in a small boat to Penquin Island. We were dazzled to see penguins in the water before reaching the island and then an abundance of penguins on the island. It was a stellar day in the company of our guide Terry. An experience not to be missed by penguin lovers!

Smooth ride
It was easy to arrange our ride on the internet. The follow up reminders were helpful. The driver was on time, the vehicle was comfortable, and the ride was smooth. Even though local taxis could have been hired for the 1.5 hrs ride at half the price, for our peace of mind (non Spanish speakers), it was well worth it for us to go with an established travel outfit.

You’ll love this tour - we did !
Our guide, Jose, met us at our hotel (very much appreciated) to begin our tour. We took the subway (fare included) to a beautiful artisanal market. Everything here was hand made. While my wife was shopping her little heart out, Jose and I enjoyed a coffee and snacks (included). After the market we visited Castillo Hildago district which was very picturesque. Great views of the city, then a walk through the gardens and onto an area with an Instagram worthy fountain photo. From here we went to the Mercado Central. The market was vibrant and full of smells to excite the senses. We stayed in the area for an excellent lunch and drinks at El Galeon restaurant. We chose our meal (included) from the expansive menu. We had empanadas as appetizers and for the main course, I had swordfish, my wife had a shrimp dish. The restaurant owner and the staff made us fell very welcome. The meal was excellent. After lunch , it was downtown Santiago - we went to cathedrals, government buildings, museums - we saw a lot. Along the way, Jose NEVER rushed us. We had plenty of time to browse, take pictures, stop for water breaks etc. Jose seems to know everyone. Many times people stopped him in the street to say hello and hug. EVERY time someone stopped , they said what a great guy Jose was. Our full day tour CONFIRMS it. Jose was a great tour guide.

Perfect Overview of Santiago
Our guide Sebastian had an excellent knowledge of the history of Chile and Santiago. From the days of the Incas to present time, he brought the culture of Santiago alive. Wear good walking shoes. Don’t miss going to the top of the fortress. Beautiful views.

Exceptional Trip!
This was an amazing trip! Valparaiso and Vina Del Mar are beautiful towns and should not be missed. We loved seeing the whimsical side of Valparaiso contrasted to the resort feel of Vina Del Mar. Our guide, Giovanni, was exceptional. He was so accommodating to every request, plus he was entertaining and an absolute wealth of information about the two cities and Chile in total. His English was quite good, making it easy to have a conversation during the entire trip.

Sensational Mountain Vistas
Our guide was superb! Hermo made us feel comfortable throughout our Andean Mountain experience. We are senior citizens so going up around 10,000 feet requires more patience and understanding and Hermo fully accommodated our need to walk a little slower and to ensure we were safe. We absolutely were in awe of the spectacular views and seeing the Andean Condor. Having a nice lunch snack with Chilean wine made this day even more special! I highly recommend this trip, it is worth every penny!
