Volcano Views & Vibes: My Solo Day Running Through San Salvador
This is a great trip to familiarize yourself with San Salvador and the surrounding areas of El Salvador. Osmaro was a great guide and my personal photographer :) I learned a great deal about the country and amazing facts about each stop. Being a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and had an amazing time! The group size was perfect for meeting new people, but also being able to get a personalized experience. I truly enjoyed each and every stop we made.

My heart erupted with joy and fun!
What an AMAZING day. Francis (driver) and Josue (tour guide) where fantastic. I did this tour as a solo female traveler and could not have felt more safe. I was picked up at my hotel and after a brief stop to grab any food/drinks we wanted, we went to the volcano. Throughout the ride, Josue took the time to tell us about his country's history and current day facts. He also told us what to expect for the day ahead. He spoke in both English and Spanish for all of the participants. The first part of the volcano was HARD. My breathing was terrible trying to adjust to the altitude. After about 45 minutes and a few stops, it got better. Josue made sure everyone in our group was keeping pace and stopping as needed. We all made it to the TOP. The ascent took about 2.5 hours.... *Please note that this trip requires you be physically fit/able to truly hike* It was cloudy and we couldn't see the crater but then all of a sudden the clouds went away and WHAT A SIGHT! Absolutely stunning. We stayed taking pictures and eating popsicles for about 40 minutes before descending back down. The way down took about 1.5 hours maybe.... Then we went to Lago de Coatepeque. The views and food at the restaurant were great. I was able to order my food and then rent a jetski from a different vendor (not a part of this tour). So much fun!!!! Josue was a great guide and I highly recommend this trip with him.

Best Airport Pick Up Ever
Our driver was fantastic! He was very polite and he drove as a professional driver. He stopped for us to get coconut water on the way out of the airport, and he helped with the luggage. 10 stars review! I will recommend this service to everyone coming to El Salvador.

Great tour, make sure to check!
Great tour! Everyone was super nice and communicated very well, it was super easy getting through all the borders, and the drive wasn’t bad at all. Lots of opportunities to see new things and meet new people. Definitely a long day though, left at 04:30am and returned at 8:00pm. Need room for 6-8 new passport stamps. Definitely communicate with them and check if your trip will be going, as my trip was scheduled for a Tuesday, and on the Saturday before I messages then to check if my tour would be going, as they will cancel the night before if you are the only person on the tour that day, and they told me I was the only person booked for the Tuesday, so I was able to be moved to the Monday instead on a day the tour was already confirmed to be going.

The capital of the small country of El Salvador, San Salvador is a perfect jumping-off point for exploring the country. Scale Santa Ana Peak, the country’s tallest mountain and an active volcano; border-hop into nearby Honduras for the ruins of Copan, some of the world's best-preserved Maya ruins; or follow the Ruta de las Flores, a path that features incredible biodiversity and indigenous culture. San Salvador tours are the way to see the country and region in all its complexity.
