It was an incredible tour...
It was an incredible tour as Gerardo is so knowledgeable about El Salvador’s history! Plus he knew so much about the vegetation and wildlife around the volcano. I would highly recommend him for any tour!

Great views of the both craters. Lots of steps, but easy to walk. Very friendly and knowledgable guide.

Lovely walk around town...
Lovely walk around town with lots of amazing information about the history, then super tasty pupusas then the beautiful national park. Wilman, our guide was fantastic!

  • El Boquerón is a must-see attraction for adventure travelers and outdoor enthusiasts visiting El Salvador.

  • Bring cash, plenty of water, sun protection like a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, as well as insect repellent.

  • Wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking over uneven surfaces.

  • There are plenty of restaurants along the hiking routes and some local stalls at the top.
