So interesting!

Elvin was our guide and he was fantastic! He was so friendly and knowledgeable about the whole area, not just Altun Ha. Took us to a local restaurant, which had excellent food. The ruins are the closest ruins to Belize, not necessarily the largest, but we enjoyed it. Loved seeing the monkeys. We saw the whole troop. Would recommend!

Percy was absolutely amazing! To start, he made himself available to pick my wife and I up early upon request. Tour of Altun Ha and the Community Monkey Sanctuary was great! Our tour guide, Elvin, treated us like VIPs providing a personalized tour of the Mayan ruins with a thorough explanation of the history of the site. Then made sure we were taken care of at the monkey sanctuary with a close up encounter with the troop of howler monkeys.

Our guide, Mark, was absolutely phenomenal. He shared lots of historical information about the town as we drove through. He took us through The ruins and shared so much information, he’s a wealth of knowledge! On the way back, at our request, we stopped at a local restaurant and had delicious local food (not included the trip price) and we were back in plenty of time to board our ship.
