What are people saying about Salt Lake City

Fun in the wild
Excellent trip. Got to see bison, horned owl, porcupine, and lots of birds. Guide was knowledgeable and fun to go around with. He brought snacks and water but I would recommended you bring additional if you want more of a dinner. Only negative was another person on the tour who was a jerk. She got on the bus complaining and trying to pick a fight with the guide. She then complained about the a/c so it got turned off and we were all hot. She was upset because of the bugs and said the guide should have told her there were bugs on an outdoor tour of animals on an island surrounded by water. Other guests were telling her to be quiet. She also walked right out close to the bison after being told the safety expectations of staying back. She then mocked the driver when he said he was responsible for our safety. Everyone except her enjoyed the tour.

This is a fabulous tour...
This is a fabulous tour and just what I was looking for - full of scenery and wildlife, including birds. The owner and guide Clayton led our tour; he is a super-knowledgeable guide who can easily talk to whatever questions and interests the people on his tour have. Even without specific questions, he was able to share so much information about the area - its past and present, and all the flora and fauna of the area - keeping us entertained and learning. I highly recommend this tour!

My Solo Visit to Salt Flats
It was an extremely enjoying trip and I had booked solo. The group had other travelers from different countries from Japan, China, UK etc. We had a ninety year old lady with her son from Japan and it was very encouraging to see how our tour guide Dima from The Maitei Travel ( an Ukranian) took care of all travellers. There was one of the traveler a student who booked who came very late, Dima was accomodating with consent from all travellers and waited for him. Dima was very informative and shared many details about Salt Flats, about Utah state. He was also very adventerous to take us to Silver mountains though that was not part of the trip. He helped everyone to do a hiking of about 15minutes and that included the Japanese lady as well. He was keen to take us to the museum which had WW2 artifacts but because of time constraints we couldn't see the museum. Overall it built my confidence to do more solo travels. Must see salt flats if you are in Salt Lake City.

Best tour ever!
We were advice by locals to just drive through the park; however, this was the best tour I have taken. The guide was knowledgable and was able to give us some good history. He was also very accommodating. If you didn't see something you wanted to see, it was your own fault for not speaking up. Love, love, love this. Will definitely keep his card. He does multiple tours.

Utah’s capital city offers a great mix of activities, whether you’re spending time in the city or out in nature. The best-rated Salt Lake City tours include boating on the Great Salt Lake, taking in a Tabernacle Choir concert, looking for bison and antelope on the lake’s biggest island, or touring the city by foot, bus, bike, or trolley. Salt Lake City also makes a great base for exploring the region, with excursions to the Bonneville Salt Flats or Wasatch Mountains.
