What are people saying about Salt Lake City

Fun in the wild
Excellent trip. Got to see bison, horned owl, porcupine, and lots of birds. Guide was knowledgeable and fun to go around with. He brought snacks and water but I would recommended you bring additional if you want more of a dinner. Only negative was another person on the tour who was a jerk. She got on the bus complaining and trying to pick a fight with the guide. She then complained about the a/c so it got turned off and we were all hot. She was upset because of the bugs and said the guide should have told her there were bugs on an outdoor tour of animals on an island surrounded by water. Other guests were telling her to be quiet. She also walked right out close to the bison after being told the safety expectations of staying back. She then mocked the driver when he said he was responsible for our safety. Everyone except her enjoyed the tour.

This is a fabulous tour...
This is a fabulous tour and just what I was looking for - full of scenery and wildlife, including birds. The owner and guide Clayton led our tour; he is a super-knowledgeable guide who can easily talk to whatever questions and interests the people on his tour have. Even without specific questions, he was able to share so much information about the area - its past and present, and all the flora and fauna of the area - keeping us entertained and learning. I highly recommend this tour!

My Solo Visit to Salt Flats
It was an extremely enjoying trip and I had booked solo. The group had other travelers from different countries from Japan, China, UK etc. We had a ninety year old lady with her son from Japan and it was very encouraging to see how our tour guide Dima from The Maitei Travel ( an Ukranian) took care of all travellers. There was one of the traveler a student who booked who came very late, Dima was accomodating with consent from all travellers and waited for him. Dima was very informative and shared many details about Salt Flats, about Utah state. He was also very adventerous to take us to Silver mountains though that was not part of the trip. He helped everyone to do a hiking of about 15minutes and that included the Japanese lady as well. He was keen to take us to the museum which had WW2 artifacts but because of time constraints we couldn't see the museum. Overall it built my confidence to do more solo travels. Must see salt flats if you are in Salt Lake City.

Best tour ever!
We were advice by locals to just drive through the park; however, this was the best tour I have taken. The guide was knowledgable and was able to give us some good history. He was also very accommodating. If you didn't see something you wanted to see, it was your own fault for not speaking up. Love, love, love this. Will definitely keep his card. He does multiple tours.

Fun, Dizzying Experience with My Daughter—A Bit Pricey but Worth It
Went to the illusion museum yesterday with my daughter, Greta, and we had a great time. I honestly enjoyed it just as much as she did. My favorite part was the spinning room—it really felt like everything was moving, and it made me pretty dizzy. The whole place was a lot of fun and something I’d definitely recommend, although I will say the price felt a little on the expensive side. Still, totally worth it for the experience with her.

Fun despite rain!
It was basically a private tour as we were the only ones. Travis was knowledgeable and very personable. He made it fun and engaging despite it being rainy most of the time. He helped us get some good pictures too. Cary was also very nice. Despite the dreary weather, both made our tour fun and unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Experience!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience on our trip to Antelope Island and the Great Salt Lake from Salt Lake City. Our guide, Blake, was fantastic—so knowledgeable about the area and clearly passionate about sharing it. His warmth and friendliness made us feel truly well taken care of every step of the way. He also had an amazing eye for wildlife and spotted so many animals we never would have noticed on our own. Thanks to him, this tour was a highlight of our trip, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Our tour guide Ann was very informative, friendly, patient and so kind. She showed us around the town, we stopped off and visited all the major sites and attractions that makes Salt Lake City so unique and special. Thank you, Ann for your time and thank you for the memories!

Fun and Informative!
We had a wonderful time on this tour! Our group was large and varied (adults, teens, young children) and everyone enjoyed themselves. The tour guides were good-natured and knew so much about the history of SLC and Utah. Just the perfect length for everyone in our group - would recommend!

October is great for sailing
October is a great month for sailing. My son & I sailed a 45- minute excursion on the Great Salt Lake. Being a local it wasn’t something we considered much. It was so interesting, beautiful and thought-provoking. There were no bugs and the weather was moderate, making it a truly enjoyable experience with clear views and few distractions. The staff was casual, friendly & patient and provided us with interesting information. It was something we didn’t know we needed, but found beauty and interest on the Great Salt Lake.

Great trip with informative guide
This is a great 3 hour+ trip which shows you all the major sights in SLC, including entrance into the Capitol, with a friendly and highly informative guide. It ends with the Tabernacle Choir rehearsal where you can leave early or stay longer as you wish. Very impressive and well worth the money.

Great tour!
We had a great time on the tour. The weather turned off bad for the day we originally scheduled, and the company was very accommodating to let us change dates. Garth our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and Wildlife. He was patient with us when we wanted to linger; we never felt rushed. We saw lots of bison, antelope, and deer, plus a couple of rabbits and coyotes. And the best part of the trip- the sunset was out of this world!

Utah’s capital city offers a great mix of activities, whether you’re spending time in the city or out in nature. The best-rated Salt Lake City tours include boating on the Great Salt Lake, taking in a Tabernacle Choir concert, looking for bison and antelope on the lake’s biggest island, or touring the city by foot, bus, bike, or trolley. Salt Lake City also makes a great base for exploring the region, with excursions to the Bonneville Salt Flats or Wasatch Mountains.
