The program of this tour is designed to introduce you to several very interesting places and attractions, each of which in its own way reflects the diversity that Montenegro is rich in a small area. We start with the very interesting bed of the Cijevna river, which changes its appearance several times during its course. We continue towards the Skadar lake basin, where we will stop several times, first to discover the fortress, the former medieval capital of Montenegro, and then to enjoy the view of the beautiful lake and the national park. For the second part of the day, a visit to the Old Bar, a unique location, is reserved, which with its immediate urban environment, spacious olive groves and high mountain hinterland tells a story like no other place on the Montenegrin coast. Begin your morning with us in the picturesque village of Virpazar, the perfect gateway to Lake Skadar’s world-famous bird reserve. As dawn breaks and the lake comes alive, you’ll board a traditional wooden boat, just as generations of locals have done, to discover one of Europe’s most vibrant bird habitats. Early hours are ideal for birdwatching: the waters are still, the air is crisp, and the birdlife is bustling. Whether you’re an avid birder or simply love the tranquillity of nature, you’ll be enchanted by graceful herons, flocks of cormorants skimming the surface, and, if fortune favours you, a glimpse of the magnificent Dalmatian pelican.

40 km from Podgorica, in the region of Kuči, there is a place of the Montenegrin tribe of the same name. This area represents an ideal opportunity to experience the Montenegrin wildlife and the former life of local farmers and cattlemen. In this region it is also not rare to see wild horses. Only 40 minutes walk from the Kučka Korita there is a viewpoint known as Grlo Sokolovo, located at the very border of Montenegro and neighboring Albania, from which there is a unique view of the Cijevna canyon, the Albanian settlement Tamare and the Albanian part of the Prokletije that at any time of the year leaves the observer breathless. The tour is easy and adequate for all ages and fitness possibilities, so we recommend it as one in a series of tours which can’t be missed.
