Top Placencia Tubing

Depart Placencia for one of the best and clearest snorkeling spots on Belize’s barrier reef, the marine reserve of Silk Cayes. A licensed guide gets you there and helps you gear up to safely explore colorful coral gardens teeming with lobsters, crabs, and colorful reef fish. Refuel with a Belizean-style lunch before splashing back in at a spot famous for attracting throngs of nurse sharks, sting rays, and sea turtles.

Descend to the underground wonderland that runs beneath Placencia on a full-day excursion that includes cave tubing and zip lining. Ideal for adrenaline junkies, this tour reveals stalactites and stalagmites, and also takes you to a primeval forest, of which you’ll enjoy aerial views on a zipline. Plus, this small-group tour is limited to 15 travelers, so you’ll enjoy personalised attention.
