Highly recommend!
Great experience! Our guide, Sakhone, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw all the sites listed and learned a lot about each of them. I highly recommend this tour as a way to see many of the sites outside the town.

The best tour guide - Sakhone
My tour guide Sakhone is so good. She is very gentle, calm, the best of the best service. Special her English very well. More details about the culture, religion…and local tradition lifestyle. I am very happy and appreciate about her job. She is always on time. Very very professional, also good driver too.

Super Special Tour
This was such a beautiful, interesting tour. Amazing UNESCO heritage sites and we had fun along the way! Spending the day with Sakhone was awesome. We got great food and saw other interesting locations. I then stayed at her bed & breakfast that night and felt so taken care of and welcome! Thank you so much!

  • There’s a path between the jars, which is grassy and slightly uneven—while it’s surmountable for wheelchairs and strollers, it may be a little bumpy.

  • There’s very little shade at the Plain of Jars, so make sure you’re wearing a sunhat and sunscreen, and take plenty of water.

  • There are hotels and restaurants in the town of Phonsavan, which serves as the gateway to the Plain of Jars.
