We had a wonderful time with this authentic cooking experience. Raquel and her daughters made us feel very welcome and we had a great time learning how to make estofado and an even better time eating it. The tortillas were fun to make and were so delicious

It was a pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend to my friends and family. We travelled to a bunch of different places and learned more about the culture in Guatemala. We were able to take our time during the multiple stops and really enjoyed the views and presentation’s. Would 1000% recommend to anyone looking to learn more about San Juan La Laguna.

This is a super tour "chaired" by Rosa and Pedro. It strikes a balance of adventure with culture and education taking into account honey making, cotton production, chocolate cultivation, religion and others. Not a dull moment. Thank you for the experience.

Edwin and Cesar were wonderful tour guides! It was a beautiful and interesting hike. I was very slow but no one made me feel rushed. This hike is HARD- lots of uphill and some rock scrambles. Despite that I found it enjoyable and rewarding. I would happily book with them again.

Our guide Alex was amazing!!! We had limited time in Atitlan and this was a good way to see/learn a lot in a short amount of time. You have the option to do ~1.5 hours of kayaking followed by ~1.5 hours of hiking, or you can add in a boat ride to visit some other villages in the area. Alex was good friends with the locals so we got a great look at the culture, art, and food! Alex was super helpful the entire time and was lots of fun!! He was so incredibly nice and definitely our favorite guide of our trip. I recommend you wear hiking shoes because the hike is a real hike, and they’ll bring you your shoes after kayaking so you don’t have to worry about getting them wet. There’s also an opportunity to change out of your wet clothes after the kayaking part. Bring cash with you too to pay for the boat transfers if you add in any village visits!

Was picked up at hotel in Panajachel it was definitely an early pickup of 330am driver said 90-minute drive to start of hike, but we got there after about 70 minutes we slept on the way which helped pass time along. It was certainly a challenging 30-minute hike towards the end to get to the top with the switchbacks, but guide was very patient and waiting on me because I was the slowest. Bring your own water they do not provide water. Once at the top guide found us our own spot for our small group and brought us hot chocolate because it was very cold that early in the morning and also offered us cinnamon like bread. Definitely bring layers and hat and gloves with wind and chilly early morning temps. Sunrise was gorgeous to watch we got plenty of time to take a ton of pictures before we started hike back down. On way back we had a different vehicle was a more comfortable van where we could recline seats and sleep on way back. We were brought back to hotel by about 845am which gave us rest of day to explore more of Lake Atitlan. Would highly recommend company! :)

The highlight of our Lake Atitlán adventure was definitely the ATV tour! We’re so happy we went; it was my first time driving my own ATV. I was a little nervous at first, but then I got really excited. Our guide, Sebastian, was fantastic, making the whole tour smooth and safe. The views were absolutely breathtaking and totally worth every moment.

I can highly recommend this tour. From the moment the tour guide picked us up at our hotel in Lake Atitlán until the end of the day, the service was excellent. The guide was very professional and spoke English fluently, which made the experience smooth and enjoyable. Everything was well organized, and we received a reconfirmation the day before the tour. The boat was on time, and only the people who booked the tour were on board, which made the experience more comfortable and personalized. At pickup, the guide already had all the information and only asked for our first and last names. One of the nicest parts of the experience was my first-ever ride in a tuk-tuk, which was arranged by the tour guide—fun and well coordinated.
