This one-day trip will take you from Moshi to the sugar cane plantations, where nature abounds and wildlife is waiting to be discovered.We start the day with a transfer from your hotel in Moshi to the starting point of the ride at our bike shop. We will cycle south through the sugar cane fields towards the TPC Club where the tour ends. Along the way, we’ll see beautiful scenery with the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro as our backdrop. We will have a delicious lunch at the Planters restaurant and enjoy a relaxing afternoon before being transferred back to Moshi.

Known as the "Coca-Cola" route, it offers a gradual slope and direct path, making it an easier option. See the sunrise at Gillman's Point and hike your way to Uhuru Peak. Relax after your busy week in the beautiful turquoise water of the Kikuletwa Hot Springs (they are not really that hot but more refreshing)! Experience the way the locals travel by hopping in a Tuk Tuk and weaving your way through local Maasai villages, Baobab trees and farms to see how people live in the country side. When we arrive at the hot springs after about 1 - 1.5hrs travel enjoy the tranquility of the water in a quiet space or opt for the rope swing for a bit of excitement! Entry ticket and lunch will be provided. Tubes are available for hire. The hot springs are home to many Doctor fish who will clean your dead skin if you sit still! When you are ready we will return back to Moshi and drop you off at your desired location. Note: the amenities (including change rooms and toilets) at the hot springs are very basic so we would encourage guests to use the bathroom before leaving and wearing their swimming attire to start the tour. Don’t forget to bring towels!

Materuni Waterfall & Coffee Tour Around 20 -30 minutes outside of Moshi are Materuni waterfalls. As this trip is so close by it is ideal for those people with limited time but who would still like to see some of the nature and beauty that this region of Tanzania has to offer. These falls are smaller than the previously described Ndoro, but still pretty impresive at 150 meters high and definitely a sight worth seeing. From Materuni Village we will walk some 30 minutes to the waterfall. The walk itself is extremely interesting, as you will see some smaller waterfalls and lots of waterways which are part of the irrigation system of the local farmers who grow coffee, bananas and many other fruits and vegetables.

This cycling tour will lead you out of the city heading south into the enormous and beautiful sugar cane fields. You will see entire villages constructed for plantation workers by TPC, The Tanzanian Plantation Company. From lush sugarcane you will begin to move deep into the rural and agrarian life of the local people. Keep a lookout for outstanding views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mawenzi in the distance as you ride alongside fields of corn, wheat, turnips, onions, and bananas. Quaint and tiny villages will appear along the route, as well as herds of cows, goat, and sheep. Kikuletwa Hot Springs Located approximately 2 hours drive from Moshi town in Chemka; is the hot springs. Hidden by a beautiful green forest lie natural hot springs, ideal for taking a relaxing dip or simply to use as a backdrop for a tranquil picnic or bbq. You will be accompanied by a driver and guide and can spend as little or as long as you like, with the option to camp overnight in this idyllic spot. If lucky, you may be able to spot baboons hanging in the tree-tops above you.
