Mini Malaysia & ASEAN Cultural Park Tours and Tickets

Mini Malaysia showcases the architecture and culture of each Malaysian state (there are 13 in total) through wooden houses built in traditional styles. In the ASEAN Culture Park opposite Mini Malaysia, a house represents each country in the ASEAN collective, comprising Singapore, Philippines, Myanmar, Indonesia, Brune, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia.

The Mini Malaysia & ASEAN Cultural Park admission fee differs depending on your age and nationality. For non-Malay adults, it costs 72 Malay ringgit, and for kids, 56 Malay ringgit. There’s a hefty discount for Malay nationals—it costs 45 RM for adults and 35 RM for kids.

Inside each house, you’ll find exhibits detailing the heritage and traditions of each state. There are also demonstrations and activities on offer; you can go horseback riding, watch a coconut shredding demonstration, try your hand at archery, and explore the jungle's off-road paths on an ATV (quad bike).

The amenities available at Mini Malaysia & ASEAN Cultural Park include a souvenir shop, where you can buy handicrafts and souvenirs related to each of the Malay states. There’s also a restaurant that serves traditional Malay food, but its opening hours are sometimes erratic.

Mini Malaysia & ASEAN Cultural Park is just 9 miles (15 kilometers) from the rainbow-colored historic center of Malacca (or Melaka), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The top things to do here include exploring Jonker Street in Chinatown, sampling spicy street food on the banks of the Malacca River, and visiting a 16th-century Dutch house.

The best time of year to visit Mini Malaysia & ASEAN Cultural Park is during the dry periods of April-May and October-November. While the subtropical climate of Melaka means it's hot and humid year-round (and prone to rain whenever you visit), you’ll have the least chance of showers if you visit during these months.
