The Columbus Lighthouse is a massive monument dedicated to Christopher Columbus. Built out of concrete in the shape of a cross laid on its side, the structure houses a mausoleum (purportedly containing the remains of Columbus), museum, several libraries, and exhibitions from around the world. It can project a cross-shaped beam into the sky, but this typically takes place once a year.
